[President] Sweden-Netherlands statement

Netherlands still wants into Asgard and I feel I need to make a statement between Sweden-Netherlands.
I see Netherlands as friends and they have supported us last 3 months and longer. Last month Swedish congress rejected them into Asgard. This was not because they are weak, they even have more daily damage than Norway. And we knew the fact that you know that Asgard can't help you be free from Poland in the long run. The dutchmen has all Asgard members fully support except Swedens at the moment.
So why congress rejected last month? There is no real answer to this since there is no real reason to reject. Some thinks it would be more problems for us if we bring in one more wiped country. Sweden and Canada are already wiped and Finland is on the edge. And norway facing airstrikes, yeah. So 5/5 countries wiped what would it make us? Asgard or Asswipes

This can be one reason but on other hand we would get more friends. There is always theories, would it unite our damage or divide it?
Another reason, we only had 9 congressmen during the vote, everyones votes matters extra much since we needed 66% and there wasn't enough yes.
I believe that Swedish and Netherland friendship is tested right now. If we stick together then we have a true ally. I know some of the swedish citizens doubts that NL dont fight for us or that they dont fight so hard. But I believe that they, just like anyone else, is trying their best. For instance I spotted their president ElGorro fighting pretty much for us at our important RW. Total 13 millions something. Everyone can't do everything but everyone can do something right?
All this doesn't really matter in the long run. Asgard is a brotherhood. At creation we wanted a local alliance where puppetmasters couldn't control where we shall fight. If we have regions or not does not matter at the moment we will keep fighting for freedom. By warfare or diplomacy. Truth to be told; it's a game, a game that many sometimes, or too often, takes too seriously and we shall not forget why we started playing in the beginning. So let's have some interesting moments and some fun together!

It would be easy for us to turn our backs on one another, but it takes real courage and will to stick side by side as we fight for our freedom. Rough road ahead, but I'd rather travel with friends then alone.

Like I said so last month, we know Asgard can't free us. Our sole reason to apply for membership was because we wanted to fight side by side with friends, with people that think alike us. Then the Swedish Congress turned us down. Well that's their right. But never any official explanation, not even after many pm's that I'd send to those involved. That's when I've said "we won't fight for Sweden no more" , we are nobodies fool, if you have no respect for us, then why would we keep on helping you? The ball is on your side: Sweden, if you want us, then ask us to join Asgar😛 we are not going to beg for it!
I'm still sympathic to the Swedes, but now it's your turn to tell us why to join.

Sweden voted No the NL one month ago. Only thing that has changed is that we have a CP that wants to make it seem like Sweden has somehow changed opinions regarding NL. He hasn't started a new discussion on this at all, except for now ofc when we are about to lose our congress which gives him complete power.

This may be true NOW for some dutchmen, myself included, but it wasn't true until Sweden rejected us.
We've often fought for Asgard countries - Sweden included - but if Sweden doesn't appreciate us then there are the other Asgard countries we can and will fight for.
We have nothing to prove to Sweden anymore. The ball is in your court now.

I have to say the decision surprised me when I heard. It would be good if a rep of the Swedish congress could explain why.

I think this statement might put us all in a bit awkward position, if the purpose is to pave the way for the Netherlands joining Asgard. Congress will be gone in a few days, that leaves the decision to the CP, unless he wishes to ask the people. There is obviously a risk of either hurting our relations to our friends and allies, or creating a rift within eSweden. In the worst case we will end up with both results.
There is a great risk that we get closer to all allies we have if we dont reject a friend that all our allies want.
Well, you can do things in to ways, from top to bottom or the other way round. You have no increased the pressure on eSweden, without giving our people a chance to discuss first.
Oh we have discussed and there is still time to discuss. The pressure have always been there, you have just not realized it. The ball has always been in our hands. When you were CP you hurt our relations basically by not giving a f•cl about Asgards interests.

This should never have nee brought up before a new discussion in congress and among the people. Why did you wait until congress is almost gone?

I wrote an article about why the proposal was rejected, and about that they are good friends of Asgard. And thats the truth, I can not make this statement before we have discussed the truth? (your truth or the real truth? )

You realize how stupid this sounds right? You're basically saying that "Soon the congress is gone so you can do whatever you want and completely ignore the wishes of the Swedish people". And this is coming from the Norwegian CP who is also an Asgard HQ member. I think you've misunderstood your job as a HQ member. It's not trying to get your buddies in to this alliance, disregarding the people of one member states opinion.
I'm rather saying. At last we are able to do the right thing for our Alliance, without getting hindered by a lot of read tape bureaucracy, and 5 negative Swedish people, who are afraid of progress.

I'm aware that the opposition against Dutch membership is greater than 5 people, but my hope is that they will understand and see hove good an Allie the Dutch are, during an actual trail membership. 🙂

This is not true. Last time the law didn't pass, it gained only 66% approval. However WP Attak modified the result by adding his own vote after closing the vote. Even further he didn't count one vote.
If re-voted, it might not pass in Finland. The atmosphere has not changed since last vote, I highly doubt it would pass next time either. If Finland would have been able to hold congress elections, the approval percent would have sunked to 50% or even lower.
Time goes by and shows us.

I know. Few people of Sweden were not so positive about it last month, it might have influenced Finland too. Now we are in new times.
"Few people"?? More like a majority of the people who discussed the subject. The truth is that Sweden is against NL in Asgard even though you try to make it sound otherwise. Most likely so that you as CP can accept them as soon as we have no congress.
