Good evening eAustralia,

Tonight I'm pleased to announce the appointments of my Vice President and Chief of Staff for my proposed government.

Reaction to my Foreign Affairs team was clearly positive, but some did ask was I taking a more hard line approach?

It's understandable question. I purposely chose a 'get tough' group of eAustralians, but even I acknowledge that balance is necessary.

I need a filter. Someone who has been there, done that, and can give me sound advice... especially if we need to 'pull back a little'.

I think you'll agree my selection of Vice President will help bring that required balance to my government.

Infin - Australian National Party
Vice President (Deputy Prime Minister)

A distinguished and well respected politician, Infin will be a great back-stop for me.

His experience will be able to guide this (potentially) first time Country President through the political hurdles of home and aboard.

If I'm not doing something I should, Infin will be the first to pull me up on it.

At the same time, if for whatever reason I cannot be at an important meeting, Infin will represent my government with class and insure that the interests of eAustralia always come first.

iRule777 - Australian Revolutionary Party
Chief of Staff

As explained to me in his email application, iRule777 has worked at least once in every department.

He is aware of what daily tasks need to be done.

A former Vice President and Presidential Candidate, there was hardly ever a ill word spoken of him.

iRule777 assures me he is keen and eager to tackle any role and I had no hesitation in naming him Chief of Staff.

It will be a hard and thankless job. Constantly emailing Ministers to make sure they are doing the tasks that help make the government, and more importantly the nation, run smoothly.

More announcements (especially on the Finance, Defence and Human Services) are to come.

I dont think the reaction to your FA's team has been positive though, I think its been more a case of "if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all". Either that, or people are still in shock.
