Day 631, 13:15 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office
A note from the MoHa

This week at the MoHa, we spent a good deal of time PMing the average UK citizen regarding information on papers to subsribe too. Again, we highly advise subscribing to this paper, the MoD paper, and the Prime Ministers paper.

Also, through the National Newspaper association, we are hoping to find the UK's favourite journalist, you can fill in the google doc described in this article to vote for who you think is deserving of the prize.

The NNA also does a weekly roundup of high quality news that has been seen in the media. If your interested in following highlights of the weeks media, subscribe to the NNA's paper.

Mr Woldy, MoHa.

MoHA Caption Competition

Each week we'll post a picture and we want you lovely people to come up with a humorous caption to accompany it.
At the end of the week we will ask the Minister of Home Affairs, Mr Woldy to decree which caption has made the ministry laugh the most.
The winner will receive a mystery prize and a letter of congratulations from the Minister.

The current picture can be seen at: http://forums.erepublik.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=182&t=17151

eCricket

The long awaited international eCricket league will be starting very soon. Sponsorship will be provided once again by the kind folks at Wellington Chase Bank, and after a bit of team shuffling things will be underway!

International Football Challenge!

We all know that football was invented on the lush green grass of our fair country. So how about we show the world how its done? Well, eFinland has challenged us to a game of online football!

The game is played on this website: http://soccer.kiekko.tk/

Its a very simple game to play, and is similar to the classic game Sensible Soccer:
- Your player will follow the mouse pointer. Use left mouse button to kick the ball; the longer time you press before releasing, the more powerful kick.
- Use right mouse button to pass the ball to a teammate.

eFinland has proposed a 5v5 game lasting 30 minutes (15 minutes each half) on the 1st or 2nd of September. If you're interested in taking part, please PM me either here or on the forums.

Fantasy Football

Are you a football fan in real life? Think you can pick the best 11 real life players from the Premier League? Well then fantasy football is right up your street!

Or head on over to http://www.premierleague.com, create an account and join our league using the following code: 184825-48792

Sign ups are until the 16th of August when the real life Premier League kicks off.

eRepublik A1 Racing

Wow, what a season its been! With only 2 circuits left to go the top 10 looks like this:

1: General Anaxima - 106
2: This is JerryGfl - 105
3: Field Marshal Lotfire - 98
4: I Am Catterick - 91
5: Gabriel Cowbury - 85
6: Shy Guy - 82
7: Sergeant Robalbinio - 81
8: George Norfolk - 71
9: Theus Jackus - 53
10: Colonel Malta Nineteen Ninety - 51

A lot can happen in the business end of the season, but it looks like it'll be a 2 way race between Anaxima and JerryGFL. Anaxima of course is looking to defend her title after winning last season in controversial circumstances...

"Catterick has collided with Anaxima whilst trying to defend P1! Anaxima appears to be lapping slower. Catterick is out of the race! It's difficult to say whose fault that was but Anaxima was a little clumsy."

Could the reverse happen this year? We'll just have to wait and see!

If you'd like to take part in the next racing season, head on over the the forums and let us know!
