[Govt of eBelgium] First update!

Good morning Belgium!




Day change has gone through and with 70% of your votes you have elected me as your President for the month of May.
First of all I want to thank you all for the vote of confidence you have given me. I am honoured to serve eBelgium to the best of my abilities.
Secondly I want to thank Kylero for being an honourable man and if anything would happen to me he will be a good replacement.

I will now present to you the cabinet for this term! I know you all have been waiting for it to see.

* VP: I chose NLSP to be my VP for two reasons. First off all, I think he has done a good job as CP and we work well together.Secondly because he is going to finish the auction of the State companies and the dealings with the administrators to comply to the new rules.

* MoFa: The motto here is don’t change a winning team. They have done a very good job and I have worked closely with them in the previous term. I can rely on them both to do the same this month, so Fabio86 will be MoFa and NicknameFromRonny will be his state secretary.

* MoHa: A bit of a change here. I appointed Ernest Bogdansson as MoHa and place Elynea next to him. So now we have a team in Home affairs. Ernest Bogdansson will scan the citizen application. He has been minister of home affairs before so it is a happy return. Elynea has done an excellent job with the Babies and will continue doing this in the month of may together with the new MU for the babies. To help her with translations and stuff I asked Jofroi to help her. So he will be state Secretary under Elynea. I also want a second state secretary to take the task of entertaining our citizens. I have asked Monsieur Guillotine to do a second term and he accepted. I think he deserves a second chance at this and with some more guidance he will do an excellent job. He has proven to be an excellent writer and made some interesting articles.

*Mo😨 For this department I have a duo job as well. Chris Stanwick will be minister of defence and he will get help from Glenn Wauters. Both gentlemen are highly skilled players and I am confident they will do a good job. With Chris Stanwick living in an area with almost a 12h time zone difference we get an 24h coverage of this department. So if anything happens during the night Chris Stanwick will be here and during day hours Glenn Wauters will be here.

*MoF: Two new names for this month in the ministry of finances. I appointed Ward de Bever as Minister of finances. He is an old new player and works hard as some of you will have noticed. Because he is kind of new I asked Boklevski to join him as uMoF. He hasn’t been all that active lately and some might not know who he is but I couldn't think of a better person to guide Ward de Bever in his task.



Things that need to be addressed straight away in the next couple of days.

There are a few things I like to see done as soon as possible.

- Looking at yet an other proposal for the constitution I think it is time we made sure that this be dealt with once and for all. This last proposal is from Chris Stanwick and for now it has 15 yes - 5 no - 1 abstain. If this proposal doesn’t get the necessary ⅔ votes it needs to pass, I will launch a survey for all citizens to ask what they think about whether or not they want one in the first place.

- As promised I will try, with the help from my husband, to create a new babyboom. If anything, eBelgium is in great need of new players. So this will be done as soon as possible.

- Next on the agenda is the new MU project. It is up and running but it can use some more publicity and explanation.

- An other new project has been launched before my term but isn’t ready yet. Congress has voted yes to donate 50 gold for buying 5 raw companies to supply the army with raws to produce weapons. The guidelines for this project from the army is currently being voted on. We will give out more information about is as soon as possible.

- One last thing I will be keeping an eye on is the ability to fight for our MPP. I see a lot off people travelling to other countries to get their daily fight. That is not what this Government aims for. So if we continue to have little fights this will be dealt with.
