[DoF] End of Term Report
Reserve Bank of Australia
G'day
It's been a thrilling term for finance, with more excitement yet to come if further teased changes happen.
I've already covered a lot in the eAusProdCom Report, so there's just a few numbers to post.
As you can see from the food graph, it does vary a bit depending on whether we hold fish in the training war with eNew Zealand. Hopefully we can negotiate some long term deals to get an extra 10% in both food and housing at the very least.
With the easing of pollution, productivity for our most worked industries is improving, and the better we can coordinate the see-sawing of trying to use work tickets only on even numbered game days (not RL days), then we may see an extra few percent.
Here's a little alliteration from Genyng Kislev to help you remember:
#TwoClickTwos
#OddDaysOff
Remember, this only applies to work tickets collected and used by employers.
For the rest of you, continue to work for your employer, or use Work as Manager, everyday - literally business as usual.
Our budget surplus for this month was over 200K, partly due to the rising average wage, and partly because we only signed 5 MPPs and France generously paid for both sides of theirs. Our average daily tax take was around $6200, after excluding one high day brought about by the tax from a one off movement of funds from an MU via a CO.
As we now have a good stash of emergency funds, there have been ideas floated as to how to use our monthly surplus, some discussed in the Productivity Commission Report, such as loans and grants for businesses, but also others:
-A boost for the ADF, both in combat order funds and for supply drops.
-Restarting the Tank Bank to help people upgrade their training grounds and maybe also some help for training contracts
-Some prize money for competitions to help make eAustralia a more fun place to be.
How much we spend on each of these is something we'll have to work through with the senate.

Nice!
Good work DPH
Money, pfft.
I'm ever so happy that others seem to delight in managing it. 🙂
It's much more exciting and complex than the state of my RL accounts 😛
After this month tho it might get boring again unless staff roll out those region based governments and taxes they promised, or even more exciting complexities, although based on the negative feedback from these changes, most of which could have been avoided with more clarity and timeliness of information, more complex things probably won't happen anytime soon.
