Twas the night before freedom
and all through the country
Spain was sleeping and no one on sentry.
When all of a sudden there rose quite a clatter.
When Spain took notice, suddenly there face was a splatter.
The wolves have come with their wily grin
Spain unable to retaliate much to it's chagrin.
One by one a new province freed
Vive la resistance we all agreed.
