Join the new world

Good afternoon good citizens of Norway! Today I bring good news for a change, the Mountains of Dovre still stand, and the sun is rising over our fair land. I will talk about Congress, EDEN and a special eWedding.




Congress Elections

It now looks like we will hold congress elections. After a meeting with my cabinet we decided that we would hold no elections this month, but we would propose candidates in both regions as a failsafe in case something went wrong. I started the vote to NE Russia so that our regions would be wiped.
However 15 minutes before I was going to attack Russia fredrikz contacted me.
There were 4 PTOers running in Sørlandet and only 1 in Vestlandet. Together we formed an last minute plan, if we could time it just right it might work.



My attack on Russia was timed to that if they placed candidates last minute we would still have time to wipe, but as they did not we could draw out the battles so that there would be time to complete elections in one region.
I, fredrikz and taulen along with Russian CP nimnul got up early (at least for a Saturday) to set the plan in motion.

Future Congressmen



As the first congress in months i cannot press enough how important your job is.
We will have a very limited number of law proposals and citizenships passes. We cannot afford to waste a single one.
All laws must be discussed beforehand and voted through in the forum before they are proposed in game. This is tradition in eNorwegian politics, but now more important than ever. Passes must be approved by both congress and government. We have learned the hard way what happens if we let in someone we do not trust completely.
We are currently working on setting up a process to screen applicants.


EDEN


As some of you may have heard already, Bulgaria has officially left the brotherhood. They have now signed MPPs with most ONE countries, if they will join ONE remains to be seen, but it is moving in that direction.
Personally I am disappointed that they chose to leave EDEN as we considered them a close ally. However I have some understanding for their patience running out and do not feel betrayed. I hope however we can move forward from this issue now.

New member nations are also joining EDEN. Albania has joined and in the summit tonight we will vote to accept another country. We will also elect a new SC.


Other news



To end this article I have some good news. With all the politics, wars and alliance business going around there are also far more joyous events happening in the new world.
I’m sure you all remember Valkirya Vala the saving angel of Norway . Tonight I have been invited to the wedding of her and the lucky groom to be Kromov .
Kromov is the MoFA of Ukraine. All the way from the start of my presidency he has made Ukraine's commitment and support to Norway clear. Both their contributions have been welcomed in troubled times.
