[CP election] Mick Gatto stands for the Southern Cross

EXECUTIVE BRANCH APPLICATION FORM NOW LIVE (CLICK)

Firstly let me thank Nicky and the ARP for the opportunity to stand as Prime Minister.

We lead the map in two key areas: the most politically inactive nation in the western world; and having the most polarised group of citizens who can't agree even on disagreeing.

I think the jig is up and other countries have noticed. Watch the map for the Resistance Wars (RWs) and as old mate Sam Cougar would say "Pick up a gun and fight!"

For a country ranked ~40th and on the verge of social destruction, I propose it's time for some certainty.

eAustralia has carried a big stick in this regard when looking at the member nations.

What's my plan for us?

I've committed to giving the Pacific bloc of TWO the chance that any bold initiative deserves. I don't find it unreasonable to question reassessment along the way based on the way it works for us and how it performs. In those terms, that's a discussion for the next few months.

The next Government needs to reach out and build on progress made. If strong nations and the total collective possession of TWO members improve sooner rather than later, this will provide Australia with better protection when we launch our campaign to take back our ORs.

Policy of dealing with aggressive nations

I say to other alliances and countries with negative intentions here and now with all readers as my witness.

Speaking as a candidate for the office of Prime Minister of eAustralia: do your worst champs. You've wiped us before and we came back on the map. Aligned or not - we have proven we can stomp on your heads. Threaten this country under my leadership, you will ultimately lose and just for our entertainment let alone anything else - a price will be paid.

Our citizens deserve to live, fight and trade as a competitive, free nation in the New World. Heed that word - 'free'. Free from the oppression of neighbouring states, free from the market tactics of overseas gold-whoring gorillas - free in every sense.

Reversing the trend

At some stage we need to put on the big boy pants and plot a course out of doom. I don't accept the arguments offered that we're eternally fubared. We've heard that nonsense before and we've made our way out of it successfully.

Frankly, anyone who believes eAustralia cannot do it and doesn't want it to try -> there's the door. Those attitudes are costing us strong fighters, citizens with wealth and industry and if that's not bad enough - it's making us look like pussies in the eyes of the world.

Putting an end to foreign threats with decisive action

To prevent the ensuing tug o'war, I'll be directing the Minister of Foreign Affairs to send a clear communication to those who prevent us from exercising our sovereign rights. We will use a tool on them that no eAustralian government has used for some time: an embargo.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Finance will jointly draft a 'show cause' notice that the MoFA will deliver to the offending country's CP, in which they will have to explain why they took such action and why they should not be embargoed. The onus to demonstrate why will reside solely with the offending country.

Correct. It will be the policy of a government under my leadership to cut off trading with any nation who stands in the way of us eventually becoming whole once more. That means that any citizen of an enemy nation will be prevented under game mechanics from trading on our market or making money off of our citizens.

This will no doubt be the most argued portion of my manifesto by my opponents. The current policy argued that changes will cause a lack of supplies on the market. I argued this many times - the marketplace is evidence who was right. I will not accept financially supporting eAustralia's enemies when the taxable windfalls, generated by our good will, goes to supporting citizens of enemy states.

DEFENCE STRATEGY AS IT RELATES TO OUR FOREIGN POLICY

Taking a stand does not mean going gung ho without a strategy and on my first day I will order the Ministry of Defence to prepare a scenario that will assure us the return of 2 additional regions by the end of the term. In addition to a strike scenario, I'll also be ordering a support timetable to co-ordinate RWs along with our allies.

Putting eAustralia first

A government under my leadership will be about putting our decisions in one place: here in our country. Not in the pockets of foreign nations with their needs and agendas, that most of the time sound like a needy psychotic girlfriend wanting a hug.

The choice could not be more simple:

If you want a Prime Minister to commit to eAustralia - I'd appreciate your vote.
