April 2013 ATO Efforts and Congressional Election
First, lets give it up to the DHS and all of our Bros from other countries that come over and help out to keep Ajay Bruno from any real power. We knocked AFA down to 27.5% this month. Also like to thank the PAC and Security Department for a smooth month.
When I ran this month for Party President I promised we would go after the FEDs and compete with them fiercely. After having the lead for most of the day, AMP lost by 20 votes.Compare this to losing by 224 votes just last month. Working out deals with the Albanians and Dark Side Wolves both helped our cause and added around 150 votes alone. This allowed us to tie the FEDs this month with Twelve congressmen adding 3 from last month.
Here are the twelve players representing the AMP this month.
Department Updates!
Legal
Emdoublegee and legal have been hard at work writing up a rough draft for the constitution. We have decided to not completely burn the constitution yet but have simplified it so it doesn't hinder our departments too much. When we have something ready to get.
Retention
AMP Forum Activity Reward Program is now live! We are also giving out guns and food for when TWO finally grows a pair and tries to invade us.
Basically you post on the AMP forums we are going to reward you for it.

SWAT MU Now Open!
''A few of us here in AMP have been noticing and are concerned about the lack of players sticking around and growing in the eUSA. We decided that we were going to do what we can to fix that, and the best way we came up with to do that is through education and community. We wanted to create a place where younger/inexperienced players can learn and play alongside older/more experienced players and hopefully stay and become that next generation of experienced players!
To that end we have created SWAT, and our goal is education, retention, and community. We are opening it up to you all here in AMP first, because we want to take care of people here before we expand to the rest of the eCountry.
Supplies: Currently 8 tanks/day and food as needed
We require all members to work in a commune to help produce the supplies that we are using, and we have a pretty balling uniform if I do say so myself that we encourage you to wear.

I would like to make it clear that the SWAT Military Unit is not tied to the AMP. There are likely to be many member from the AMP party. That being said I would like to offer a donation from pockets to the MU as they have finally opened their doors, of 1,000 Q7 tanks.

In that time I've served as retention deputy for 2 terms, recruitment deputy one term, and am serving my second term as legal deputy. I've been in the National Defense US military unit for all of my time on eRep, and have since become the commander and owner of the unit. I've been a mentor for the Department of Education and am currently working for the Department of the Interior. I own a newspaper and am considering starting to write more articles on eRep economy.''

Hello Everyone,
I am Napalm Norm, the current Retention Director for the American Military Party and the proud Blue Leader for Rogue Squadron. I am very excited to get to work with GSP this term to help make the AMP the best in can be. A little bio on me, I re-joined the game last May and have slowly been trying to find my place in the e-World. I’ve been a member in the AMP for the past 8 months but just recently decided I wanted to get much more involved with the party. I originally started playing eRepublik back in 2009. It’s been too long to remember my name back then, but had just recently became of member of ST6 when I quit. In RL I’m a 4th year Chemical Engineering student, graduating in 2 months WOOT WOOT, and hoping to be working at Boeing starting in June. Thanks for reading and remember

Furthermore, April has been a busy month for the AMP and its' leadership team. I have been whipping my staff every day and have averaged over 20 posts a day on our PDBs. We will continue to work to make this party a better one everyday I am in command.

They're trying to *be the Feds, but just can't pull it off without outside help.
No AMP is better
Right. I like how the feds say we copy programs we had since last year and one specific PP of ours decided to let them die. Specially when AMP was in a complete chaos when I became PP and had to recover all those back from the ashes. GSP is doing a great job keeping things working.
Plus I think this discussion is completely pointless and this is just feeding a growing hatred between our two parties that isn't necessary. But oh well... if you guys want to be childish and continue on this, go ahead.

Friendly rivalries between parties promote competition and a greater desire to achieve. AMP wants to do better than the Feds, and stuff like what I said just makes them want to try harder.
