Crisis Averted?!?

Almost 48h ago, South Africa proposed Japan as a target for an Airstrike.
Not much is known about this proposal regarding the reasons or what happened for it to remain voteless beyond the fact that this was not a Training War. Citizens are advised to keep an eye on the Japan's shout feed where the government has chosen to keep us up to date on this topic.

Congress Elections

It's been a while since we've known the Congress Election results but lets take a quick look and compare it with the previous month.

One of the highlights of this month is the return of an old political party to the congressional chamber - S.O.S Brigade. Because of this, all the political parties, except the one mentioned before, lost some seats in congress and Constantine The Great will have no congressional represantation this month.

We currently have 37 congressman, 3 less when compared with last month, in which 29 were reelected. It was originally 38 but 1 congressman resigned today.

Haiku International Competition

A reminder that the Haiku Internatinal Competition submission period ends tomorrow with voting starting on the 4th of July so be sure to check it out and if you haven't please participate.

UPDATE: Send a PM to Seth the Magnificent if you're interested in being a judge. Participants will have their works disqualified if they become judges.

Teishin Shudan

The Teishin Shudan made slight changes to its logo and frame.
We will make the 2nd generation logo and avatar frame available here but we've been told that the 1st generation frame will still be considered valid so if you are a member and don't want to change you don't need to.

Editor's Note: I was initially going to do something slightly bigger than this but I honestly got lazy midway through. It is what it is so have fun read.
