zero something-something nothing

(THIS ARTICLE IS FOR A SMALL AUDIENCE. IT MAY MAKE SOME SENSE TO HIM. MAYBE)

A Challenge Issued:
You have nothing to lose” but “20 or more if you win.

A Challenge Accepted:
a casual correspondence chess game

A Battle Fought:

I am about to mess up royally

A Winner Proclaimed:
The draw was accepted, with honours going to olivermellors for a flawless match.

And Finally, A Prize Delivered:
The month’s tally: 1 FF, 2 TP, 1 SS, 1 HW

Well today marked the 4th Hard Worker medal, so finally have all the Gold ready for delivery. Too bad they changed division rules (making it harder) so I couldn’t send a few more Gold from a BH.

A Lesson Learned, or maybe just replayed:
Were not surrendering they approached us for a deal.

The draw you offered was very gracious, when it made good sense to secure a clear victory through further attrition. But I guess it’s not much fun challenging a hapless opponent like me in a zero-sum game. More war on the chess board (that rematch I promised) would have been nice, but alas...

…A Final Note:
I don’t belong here

But here might work

Another match someday? Still likely to continue losing, but I will try harder next time (showing signs of improvement already)
