My Fellow eAmericans,
Good evening. Tonight we'll be discussing the results of President Vanek's eUS MU Member Survey, promotions within the Cabinet, and Party President Elections.
Leading the news are the final tabulations from the eUS MU Member Survey are in and have been published in President Vanek's Paper. The below summary graph shows a nation divided when it comes to alliance issues, and the President will be conducting additional polls to better hear the nation speak its mind on this divise issue.
Participation in the survey was most excellent, with over 380 respondents- proving that whoever declared democracy to be dead in eRepublik clearly didn't take into account the participatory spirit of the eAmerican people.
Additionally, there have been some internal promotions within the cabinet that the administration is excited to share. To begin, we'd like to thank Department of Homeland Security Director Tiacha for her valued service. Unfortunately she has to step down due to real life concerns and a desire to maximize her impact with the time she spends in eRep. Her very large shoes will be filled with no stranger though, and reinforcing the spirit of unity in the eUS, the administration is very excited to welcome aboard Jefferson Locke as the next Director of the Department of Homeland Security.
That's not all though. The NSC is to be graced with the return of n0s3 as Co-Chairman of the National Security Council- along with ilphen he will bring his Germanness, defensive expertise, and activity to an already energized NSC. Ralph Ericson will be assuming a role as a Defense Advisor, again due to real life commitments.
Lastly, Party President Election Results are in! Elections will be this Friday the 15th and the following individuals have won their respective party's primary election. Please vote for them on Election Day to help with anti-take over efforts and keep the American Freedom Alliance from destroying America!

Do wonder how Molly has granted citizenship to a bunch of people who are not on the IES approved list. We saw this previously as well. Makes it more difficult to complain about RGR's group granting citizenships if the administration is doing it also. Maybe a word from BlondeNinja would help explain.

Also, you should mention that the polls don`t reflect the reality since there was no option to create a new alliance, so people had to make due with what was there.
I would agree except that going independent would be forming a new alliance...the Federation of Independent Nations....

That is good news!
The results of the polling in President Vanek’s article were derided as inconclusive and only showing up a divided nation. I see a desire for a middle way in those results.
The USA has been seeking a middle way (not Romania/Croatia, not Serbia/Poland) for a long time now. If I recall correctly, at first it was Brazil, USA and Russia. TERRA blew up, but the basic objective has not changed.
It is a problem that TWO and EDEN are so powerful that a weaker third alliance cannot always hold the balance. It is a problem that many USA citizens still support some (not all) EDEN nations.
I trust that over time the USA will be part of a viable third force in the eWorld. I trust that no one in the USA wants to go backwards to a bi-polar world.
EDEN is dead...it just hasn't laid down yet....
The results come up as divided because there wasn`t an option for "New alliance" so people were forced to choose either way. I`m fairly confident such an option would have attracted more votes.
"Independent" was an option, which would suggest to me something that doesn't exist yet.
Personally, I considered that option as something without a clear purpose; swing this way today, that way tomorrow. But yes, it can be like the way you presented it.
Good point. I quit filling out the form when I found there was no option that I really liked.

I eagerly anticipate hearing more about our alliance decisions.
imho, EDEN is out as doing an about face is bad geopolitics, so, we aught to try to stick it out with CoT, but if our relations with them crumble or they crumble themselves, we should pull out to neutral, sticking to strong MPP's with Brozil, Russia, and Albania. From there perhaps a new alliance with Brazil and ourselves at the core?
