In this article I’ll take a look at the rewards in order to find out what pluto has been up to this week.
If you want to know what this change means, keep reading, otherwise don’t waste your time here.
What are the weekly rewards worth?
To understand what are the rewards worth I valuated them with the following valuation criteria:
- each Energy Bar -> 1,75 gold (from the current promo)
- each q5 moving ticket -> 30 cc (+/- current US price)
- 1k storage -> 1750 cc
- 9k storage -> 35 gold
- each gold -> 190 cc (to round up things)
I did not value:
- damage boosters
- small bombs
because I still haven't made up my mind on how to evaluate them properly.
What do the rewards sum up with this criteria?
I made my calculations up to 10k prestige points – crazy tanks are invited to do their own math.
What will you get out of the rewards if you don’t buy energy bars?
How many prestige points do you think you’ll make on a week?
I’ve done the math for you and the quick answer is:
- if you buy a Power: you’ll be able to make between 5.000 and 6.000 prestige points
- if you don’t buy a Power: you’ll be able to make between 2.000 and 2.500 prestige points
I can publish those calculations if you want.
Now It’s easy to know what these rewards are worth for you?
- for a Power Pack buyer, between 9k cc and 10k cc
- for a non Power Pack buyer, between 4k cc and 5k cc
Do you think this is a good deal uh?
Do you know what would last week reward’s (Day 247
Use the same valuation criteria and you’ll get:
- for a Power Pack buyer, between 18.2k cc and 24.9k cc
- for a non Power Pack buyer, between 1.3k cc and 1.6k cc
Take another look just to see who won and who lost from past week to this week.
And the week before that (Day 2471)?
- for a Power Pack buyer, between 17.6k cc and 24.2k cc
- for a non Power Pack buyer, about 1.0k

I wish every reward was a 9k storage. I love those the most. Only 9k storage for me, nothing else. More 9k storage please. I love me some 9k storage.

Plato doing amazing updates,my objective to this week tournament is done before I started to make a hit.
I just do 3500pp every week to the 9k storage reward this week is 6500pp so I do not go try to do anything.
Plato just see real money in all the updates even if a stupid update is making the players unhappy he dont care about it.
Someday he will see the stupidity and will be too late.

A normal week with out buying anything is around 6000 prestige to 9000 prestige for me.
I actually think this week is a bit better for a weekly challenge but I still he needs to add a lot more to it. I gave him my idea of a weekly challenge and he did add in the cc that I was asking for.
CC is part of the life blood of this game if you want to be self sufficient you need a lot of it.
When I can, I do purchase all the power packs that are available, yes I sometimes even buy gold.
I use a budget for playing this game.
Ok. You can manage to deal up to 9k points because you buy the other packs and probably you burn all the bars you earn on a weekly basis.
I don't use EBs on a weekly base - I accumulate them for big moments - and my analysis reflects that.
Nevertheless, mind that even if you do more than 6k pp you were ripped off my pluto with the new rewards.

each EB is not 1.75 gold in current promo. 10-2x EB pack is 27.6 gold. That means 20 bar = 27.6 gold. Each bar costs 1.38 gold. Am I wrong?
You are right if you pick the price of the 10-2xEB pack. I chose the price of the single 2xEB which is sold at 3.5 gold in the promo.
I would probably make sense to pick one or the other depending on the number of EBs awarded. It would be more accurate but I guess it would change only slightly the results.

Why do people need 500,000+ storage?
I have 110,000 and that's more than enough. I sell most of the raws I produce before it gets too full.
The answer to that question would need a whole new article bro.

a few words come to mind; stingy, small-minded, and stupid.
This article assumes that the storage is actually useful, which it's not.
You have a good point here and 2 points come immediately to my min😛
- the composition of the rewards, can and does change, but the *value* of the rewards was a total rip off in all aspects (if pluto took away the storage but gave equivalent money rewards i would not have written this article.)
- some players might not value storage in the same way as you (I have 935k and willing to have more)
