Hello everybody!
My name is Aliquam, and this is my new series of articles.
It´s called "We are the Presidents" and to explain it simply it´s a series of
articles where I'm going to interview some of eRepubliks country presidents
and also some former country presidents.



I´m really dedicated to this project, and I think it could be so awesome
to know what our country presidents does/did, how they are and also some fun facts
about them.
This is also my first project on English, so I hope you will enjoy it!

Can you tell me little about yourself?
В игре я уже чуть больше года, активно участвую в жизни страны, точнее активно участвовал, потому, что после недавних событий (Расторжение Мирного договора с Литвой, заключения союза с Турцией), я не могу помогать людям в правительстве, которые предали свою страну. Весной 2011 года создал первый частный военный отряд в Беларуси, Dogs of War, который сейчас самый сильный в стране, этим отрядом очень горжусь. Президентом меня выбрали впервые, так что это можно сказать было пробой сил, смогу ли я уделять много сил игре, мне кажется, что я справился.

In the game I was a little over a year, participate actively in the life of the country, more actively involved, because after the recent events (Termination of the peace treaty with Lithuania, an alliance with Turkey), I cannot help people in government who betrayed his country. In the spring 2011 goda created the first private military force in Belarus, Dogs of War, who is now the strongest in the country, this detachment are very proud of. I was elected President of the first, so that it can say it was a trial of strength if I give a lot of power play, I think I did it.

Is eBelarus a good place to live in?
Несомненно. Эта прекрасная страна, да не самая богатая в плане регионов с ресурсами (может, поэтому она до сих пор никем не завоевана окончательно), в ней очень много интересных людей, общение с которыми доставляет иногда большее удовольствие, чем от самой игры. Но есть и проблемы, например мы, очень молодая страна, как в реальности, так и в игре, и люди еще не осознали, что их политический выбор напрямую влияет на их жизнь. Из-за этого нам иногда не везет с правителями. Подводя итог этого вопроса, скажу, что если бы пришлось выбирать заново, где начинать играть, то я, не колеблясь, выбрал бы Беларусь.

Without a doubt. This beautiful country, but not the richest regions in terms of resources (maybe that's why it's still no one won completely), there are so many interesting people with whom communication is sometimes delivers more fun than the game itself. But there are problems, for example, we are very young country, both in reality and in the game, and people have not realized that their policy choices directly affect their lives. Because of this we sometimes have no luck with the rulers. To summarize this issue, I would say that if you had to choose again, where to start to play, I will not hesitate to choose to Belarus.

What did you feel when you was voted as CP of your country?
На минувших выборах я голосовал за кандидата «против всех», таким кандидатом являлся мой товарищ по оружию доктор Ватсон.

On past election I voted for the candidate "against all", so a candidate was my comrade in arms Dr.Watson.

How it´s like to be a CP?
Это тяжелый труд. Прежде всего, он отнимает много времени, нужно быть готовым быть в сети 24 часа в сутки. Конечно, один президент без команды единомышленников и помощников ничего не сможет сделать. В период моего правления мне очень сильно помогали мои друзья, за что им огромное спасибо (не буду называть имена, а то вдруг кого случайно забуду). Еще президенту всегда необходимо помнить, что он действует не от своего имени а от имени страны, и иногда приходится жертвовать личным мнением, личными амбициями, ради блага страны.

It's hard work. First of all, it takes a long time, be ready to be online 24 hours a day. Of course, a president without a team of associates and assistants can not do anything. During my reign I very much helped my friends, for which many thanks to them (I will not name names, but then suddenly someone accidentally forget). Even the president must always remember that he is not acting on his own behalf and on behalf of the country, and sometimes you have to sacrifice personal opinion, personal ambition, for the good of the country.

What is the funniest beeing a CP?
Так смешного не припомню. Хотя можно считать забавными два случая когда мы объявляли войну Литве, при этом эти войны не были согласованы со мной. Представьте, приходите с работы домой включаете игру а там страна за которую ты несешь ответственность ввязалась в войну. Тут начинается самое веселье, бегаешь как угорелый по всяким чатам ищешь и зовешь на помощь союзников. Это очень весело, аж плакать хочется.

So funny I do not remember. Although it can be considered funny are two cases when we declared war on Lithuania, at the same time, these wars were not agreed with me. Imagine, come home from work, turn on the game and then the country for which you are responsible got involved in the war. Now comes the fun, run around like mad in all sorts of chat rooms looking for and you call on assistance from the Allies. It's great fun, as much as I want to cry.

As CP you haft to do alot of decisions. What is your tuffest decision you have done as CP?
Безусловно это подписание Мирного Договора с Литвой. Так же не простыми были для меня наши воины с Литвой. Но все же найти в себе силы пойти на диалог со вчерашними врагами, на это не каждый решится.

Certainly this is a peace treaty with Lithuania. It is also not easy for me to have our soldiers from Lithuania. But still find the strength to begin a dialogue with yesterday's enemies, this is not everyone will be solved.

What do you think about eSweden?
Это одна из стран, состоящих во враждебном нам альянсе ОНЕ. А в общем вполне нормальная страна по меркам игры. Только иногда мне как стороннему наблюдателю мне понятны причины ваших конфликтов с Россией и Финляндией. Но в игре все очень быстро меняется и может случиться, так что наши страны станут союзниками, мы, несомненно, будем рады, а уж если бы вы, наконец, по обоюдному согласию подружились с вашими соседями Россией и Финляндией, нашему счастью не было бы предела.

This is one of the countries comprising the hostile alliance us ONE. But all in all quite normal country by the standards of the game. But sometimes I like to an outside observer I understand the causes of your conflict with Russia and Finland. But in the game all changing very quickly and can happen, so that our country will be allies, we will certainly be happy, and if you finally consenting friends with your neighbors Finland and Russia, our happiness would not be a limit.

What do you think about Sweden IRL?
О думаю многие ждут, что я назову первыми abba, вот черт все равно назвал их первыми. ))) А если говорить серьезно то Швеция для меня асоциируется с именами астрид Лингрен, Нобеля, Эйвинда Йонсона. Наши страны в реальности связывает и часть общей истории. История эта была как со знаком «плюс» так и со знаком «минус». Например, Катерина Ягеллонка, была матерью Короля Польского и Князя Великого княжества Литовского Сигизмунда. Так что, хорошим следует гордиться, а из плохого извлечь урок, дабы не совершать подобного в дальнейшем. Кроме того как вы видите по моему имени, мною любим и шведский фольклор, в частности ваши мифы.

If you haft to choose one favorite color, wich one should you choose?
It´s Friday evening, what do you eat?
Любимого цвета нет. Но если нужно выбрать, то выберу красный. Это цвет, который побуждает к действию, активности.
