I don't have a lot to say today my fair readers, but I will warn you I will be making an announcement in the very near future. We still need just one more subscriber to start the next writing contest. It seemed a lot of people liked our last one. Here's my request to you though.

We have had promises of possible federal funding for my contests, but nothing has come through yet, so I'm asking if people will donate to the next contest. Last time we were able to give 125USD to each winner, which seems reasonable to me, so if 10 people can donate 25USD that would cover our costs.

I would pay for the contest myself if I could afford it, but though I do have a really good job, I don't make enough to pay 250 for a contest. So if you like my contests and want me to be able to do more, then pressure your politicians to fund us.

Finally, I'm considering the idea contest suggested by Justinious, so keep coming with your thoughts on that. If you want to see more about that, look at the last article in this newspaper. Thanks for listening, expect more tomorrow.
