Members of the UK , I hate to informed you but you might be being conned by government !
Do you care where your taxes go ? When was the last time you witness the countries account's produced ? Would you know that 20 maybe 50 even 100 grand was skimmed off one country orgs ?
The answer is you do not know the answer ! is that open government No !
With a two million surplus you would not have no clue where the UK's money is going , you have to put trust in these people in charge , I put it to the government unhanded business is going on , this is why we never see accounts ! When was the last time we had a report from the BOE ? six months ago maybe ?
The government doesn't help , they hardy give anything back to the people , New members had the NHS unit took away and I know new players are struggling to get weapons, I demand a new unit be set up for new player so help can be given, I also demand the countries account's be produced each week !
Right now they are offering loans ! Big deal UK members have put there heart and soul into the country to get nothing I mean nothing back !
Each UK citizen should care about the country, not just be another sheep, how many tanks can you produce each day ? not as many as you could I know that for a fact as well, if you are happy for the same group of players to control you ,get you nowhere keep voting how you do , but I think it's about time you all woke up to the fact you are never getting anyway being a puppet of the TUP and TWO , there ego's keep them in power that why they had to move to the TWO command and now dictator all UK policy , it's never for the good of the UK only for the good of TWO , TWO do not care about the UK either or the UK citizens , time after time we spend money only to hand regions back, and still we produce less tanks than our so called brothers in Poland
Enough is enough , its time to ask question for the government and TWO no longer shall the UK be a puppet its time for a New Era !
New Era has the right to ask question's and use it's freedom of speech, we are anti trolling party !

I might be new, but I have to say that I am struggling. Food is hard to find, support with weapons is scarce... It is a pity as I am rather active and my activity will probably go to waste due to lack of support. I feel as if a change is needed. I guess time will tell how things will evolve.
It can definitely be tough for younger players, with weapons and food hard to find. If you haven't already make sure you sign up the NHS who give out food to players everyday to help, and make sure you get a commune job with your Military Unit or party which can pay you in weapons worth up to 10 times the wages you get on the normal market. Also check out the loan scheme the government is currently implementing.

Thanks a lot for the tips and your help, very much appreciated. I still agree with the author of the article. From what it seems the government should be more transparent and supportive of their citizens. I think at the moment it all all depends too much on individuals and not on a unified group. Anyway that is just my two cents. Maybe it's a bit early to form an opinion.

Your opinion is only valid as long as it coincides with Dappers.
Read papers, read wikis, ask questions from a wide range of people. It's never too early to form an opinion, just check against facts first.

My previous comments turned into epicly long article so I removed them. Short version:
Transparency is definitely good, more reports would be interesting but not really help with security as easily covered up.
Unity would be good but I'm sure you can see we're a long way from it at the moment... but tbh that's part of the fun.
Re the article. My main problem is that theres nothing constructive there. The NHS MU was innefective and players were better of with the NHS AND their own choice in private MUs. Without justification the demand for a new one is pointless.
Gov. Support for players = good. Not many people will argue that but the problem is we don't have the tax income to do very much and the article barely suggests a valid way that it could do so...
Finally we're a part of the dominant alliance and are very active in it's HQ, its hard to see how we could be in a better position internationally so the criticism of TWO just seems like a straw man argument without a suggestion for a better way to proceed.

It would be nice to see more MoF reports but mostly because I find them interesting in a nerdy way, and they're good for informing discussions about spending and stuff.
As the MoF is the one that holds the keys and writes the reports it wouldn't be hard to hide if they were stealing anyway so I don't think MoF reports would really help protect us. We just have to trust in the players, and that the CP's paying attention.
It also seems odd to sniff at government loan schemes aimed at helping player improve when a) half your article is about the government not helping players and b) it was one of the flagship policies of the player you backed for CP.
