UK Feeling Hungry, Now has Indigestion

Day 1,624, 14:15 Published in United Kingdom France by Madacaion

It turns out the UK seem to like two things above tactical insight:
- Giving the invading French the Heave Ho,
- Collecting Shiny New Achievements!

After the liberation of East Midlands many people rejoiced in the streets. Proper tea from china pots could once again flow, but amongst the euphoria an opportunity was set upon. To begin another resistance war – this time in the North West. The first demonstration of British Ingenuity! A new war? To run during the deepest part of the night UK time? After a lot of our big players had hit the EM’s and had either now exhausted their supplies or indeed themselves?

Unsurprisingly the rebellion was crushed.

How many people wasted resources – I don’t know. But a lot of men were pulled away from their well deserved cream tea’s simply to fight a fools war.

But this was only the first of the rebellions.

As morning broke and we licked our wounds – opportunity arouse once again to push into NW England. This time – through either luck or timing, Hungry started up a war on Frances eastern boarder. A clever move by the wily British! Dividing the French forces and allowing for a fairly easy run of victories. Very soon we were 3-4 up. It looked like only the French rearguard remained. But our folly remains, as the stream of True Patriot medal announcements in the feeds show you.
While this was happening Hungry – the instigator of the opportunities we have used – is facing defeat. This cannot be attributed to the UK alone, we are but a small nation, but the lack of responsiveness is worrying nonetheless.

We have many MU’s – something which, so far, I can see having some uses. However the overall punch of the British military is degraded by the lack of communication and clear direction. So when the order came out (and I believe there was some form of order – or at least an awareness that Hungry was losing) to ship over and help our ally Hungry how long did it take the MU’s to notice and change their orders appropriately? Surely Daily Orders should be the most important and strategic battle currently at hand to promote as many people as possible hitting where they are needed?

As the new "True Patriots" parade around with their nice trophies - its starting to turn a few stomachs. Hopefully it might even turn a few heads.

If we wish to maintain and support an independent UK and push the French out we need to play it smart. Our leadership would be wise to consider the communications breakdown and devise a strategy to overcome it. I have my own ideas: but then again – I am just a 2 day old noob.

Hungry has lost – now we need to look to our other allies and support them while we work out where we put the Tums.
