To provide for the common defense

Providing for the defense of our country is the most important duty a President has. In order to properly do this I need people who understand how the military works, how to coordinate with our allies, and how to manipulate the little bit of strategy left in the game.

To that end, I selected two people who have about as solid a background as soldiers and leaders as one can ask for.

These two men have both served America for years, Deificus is the only man to have led two different branches of our military, Alexander Hamilton is a former President, respected around the world, and one of the best tanks we have.



Deificus will serve as the next Secretary of Defense. I needed someone with the trust and respect of both the military leadership, and the executive. He has this. He knows what the military needs, and how to work within their system to get things done. I’m going to ask him to be a ‘translator’ of sorts. He speaks poli-speak and military speak. Sometimes, it’s like someone from Britain talking to someone from the States, you understand the words most of the time, but something is lost. He’s going to help bridge that divide.



Alexander Hamilton will be National Security Advisor. In this role, he will assist me with the selection of battle priorities, and coordinate our efforts with Terra HQ, and our allies. He is respected by most everyone he’s worked with, and has served at every level of the government. I trust his judgement, and I look forward to working with him to help secure more resources, while supporting our allied initiatives.

I am planning on vesting in these two people something I’ve stolen from real life. They, along with my CoS and VP, will have National Command Authority. This means that, in my absence, they will be able to direct military efforts to the places that need them most. While I try, I cannot be online twenty four hours a day, and these men have earned the level of trust necessary to be given this responsibility.
