Tides are turning [Feds in Congress]

On behalf of the Federalist Party, I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of the people who supported us for Congress. This was a really fun election and I met a lot of new people during the campaign process. I look forward to getting to know some of you even better!

We ended up winning 16 seats. After the 3 seats we won for our 6th party friends, that means there are 13 Federalist Party members in Congress. That’s not too shabby, but I think we can go harder. Afterall, the overall turnout in this election was much lower than the month before, and yet the Feds saw pretty decent gains. We're the only party that actually boosted their numbers during a slump month.

Tides are turning, my friends. I’m seeing all of these shouts and articles about how bored people are, but I don’t really understand that. Energy in the Feds is ridiculously high and we have a lot of cool stuff going on. If you’re bored, then you’re boring. In this instance, don’t hate the game, hate the player.

But I am not unsympathetic to the plight. Not every party can be as fun and as interesting as The Feds. So here is my suggestion- if you really want to DO SOMETHING, then join us. If you are wondering where all of the fun is, then join us. If you feel like you have more to give this game and you are being underutilized, then join us. We will help you find your place and your fun.
