The True Gods

Day 2,196, 06:17 Published in India Serbia by Ind1anMartyr

OK guys this is a different kind of article. Seeing passions at an all time high, though it might be good to cool off with the frigid Himalayas. All this talk about "Gods" and their virtual baggage amuses me, so I thought, why not introduce you all to some true Gods - of which the most amazing is the great Mt. Khangchendzonga.

I recently went on my favourite trek to Goechala pass (Khangchendzonga Base camp on the India side) in West Sikkim and thought I would share some of the pics so that some of the guys playing eRepublik would also know how amazing our Himalayas are and maybe cultivate a love for trekking (one of my passions) 😃

So without further ado ...

That's us - Black Cobra is one of my companies and the 4 of us went as Black Cobra dudes. From L to R - Me, Tapan.N (he plays eRep), Dawa Sherpa, Digvijay Gehlot (ex eRep player)

Blazing Golden sunrise at Dzongri top - 14,200 feet (Mt Khangchendzonga zoomed in)

Dzongri to Thansing under the shadow of the hulking Mt. Pandim

Horses under Mt. Khangchendzonga enroute to Thansing

Camp and tent at Lamuney @ 14,500 feet (final stop before reaching base camp) Me and Dawa with Mt. Khangchendzonga at the back

Glorious Sunset at Lamuney camp-site

Streaming clouds in the morning at Lamuney

More cloud goodness 🙂

The Prize - the utterly glorious, spell binding, astounding ........... (fill in all superlatives here) Mt. Khangchendzonga in the morning sunrise at 5:15 am... pink and then gold. Sheer magic! Height 15,500 feet.

Saying goodbye till next year winter! (The views are splendid in winter but boy was it cold... -15 with a chill factor of -5/-8 degrees due to wind!)

I have many more pics and videos, if anyone is truly interested in doing it, we are working on a documentary and if you message me I will keep in mind and give you the link to it once finished 😃

Till then, stay safe, enjoy trekking - be one with the TRUE Gods on Earth - the Himalayas!

JAI HIND!!!!
