The greatest oxymoron in eRepublic

What is an oxymoron?

An oxymoron is a figure of speech that combines contradictory terms. For an example, terms administrator and logic. It's a total contradiction.

No my friends, this is not an insult, this is the fact. Because what would be another term for the latest changes that were introduced by the administrators?

I'm talking about changes that they made to monetary market. If someone didn't notice, our companies are not able to use monetary market anymore. That means we can't exchange currencies into gold, gold into currencies, one currency into another....

Let say that you own a company and that company have several export licenses. You sell a certain amount of products at market you have license for and you make some income expressed in local currency. Let say you earn 500 JPY at the market of eJapan. But your company is located in eCanada and you need to pay your workers in CAD. You also need to buy raw for future production which you also have to pay in CAD.

But you can't exchange JPY to CAD, gold, or any other currency.

Futuremore, let say you have made some cash reserves in gold (I usually do it). Now, you have a certain amount of gold at your company account, but you can't exchange it to CAD either.

So, one can be richer then Bill Gates, but still can't pay his employees nor buy raw. Because administrators doesn't allow him to exchange gold and foreign currency into local one.

Well done, administrators! The most stupid thing you have ever done since the beginning of eRepublik!
