The Forgotten Defeat

Editorial

Today I am dealing with a topic that somehow everyone had forgotten. Our air strike against Montenegro.
Also, I drop some of my thoughts.

This picture shows perfectly how much our "mighty Airforce" fought at this AirStrike

The Forgotten Defeat

Let's look at the chronicle. A week ago President Jeppe.S announced a war. (See here: https://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-presidenten-l-gesrapport-2762784/1/20)

The reason was that many offensives have now started and we Swedes can finally play along.
Somehow after a long thought it seemed to be something for me. I thought to myself - hey, this will be exciting, we're going to the Australian Peninsula, what's next? Asia? Wouldn't that be kinda cool?

So I forgot my initial skepticism and thought this could be awesome!

What happened after the Air Strike went off?

Really nothing. We lost bitterly badly. The Australian Delta Force issued a combat order and their special forces rolled us down.

HOW DOES THIS WORK ?
WHERE WERE OUR COMBAT ORDERS?
I read NOTHING on the day of the AirStrike. No article from Minister of Defense. No mood-mongering. On the contrary, I only witnessed that the elite were more focused on stealing medals from NB.

What's that for sh**?

As a good Congressmember, I asked what's going on in Sweden Chat. What did I get as an answer? Just awkward silence?

HONESTLY:
1. Why are we doing this if nobody wants to win it?
2. The AirStrike cost almost 147,000 kr - FOR WHAT ? Random medals ?
3. We made a fool of ourselves. We didn't tactically distract anyone with this maneuver, because our opponents were NOT even remotely challenged. We weren't even seriously close to victory and everyone was doing their usual "medal farming".
On top of that, we've also shown the world that we're too stupid to defeat anyone.
If the job was to portray us as the weaklings of the western world, we succeeded.

In real life, you would have asked for a resignation. Admittedly non-partisan. In eSweden people ignore that sort of thing.

Yes, it annoys me immensely. That hurts.

Well at least it's funny with NB.

PS: The current national situation was already clear before the air strike. Either you plan something completely with the handicap or you don't. Doing it and losing it in front of everyone is useless.
