Stop Complaining About It and Do Something
Cubby
This game is funny. Over my 5+ years of playing I’ve seen it all, and by “it all” I mean how much Plato yanks our chain.
I’ve also seen the ebb and tide of the eUS political game. As the Commander of Seal Team Six, I’ve put the MU above political involvement for the most part—out of necessity—it’s hard to survive as a Private MU. There are sometimes that I get frustrated with political decisions, and I start speaking up. But something has stuck with me. Last year, Rainy Sunday prompted/chided me: “Stop complaining about it and do something.” OK, I don’t know that quote is exactly what was said, but that’s the gist.
Now, I’ve been in Congress a number of times, and I participate, fulfill my duties, and play by the rules; but I’ve found myself unable to change much. Why? Cause I didn’t stick to it. So I’ve been looking around for good people to get involved with. And over the past few months, through the merger of LAP and WTP, I have found that group. I’ve made a deliberate effort to do my part, in recruiting, promotion, administration. I want to contribute well to the cause. I also want to have something that I can stick with.
We The People, frankly, is made up of more people with opposing viewpoints to the ones I have formed as head of a PMU. However, I have found them to be very tolerant, no, downright welcoming. We may not always agree, but we do respect one another. And with this respect, comes trust, with trust, commitment to one another.
I want to be in Congress this term on behalf of We The People. I can’t think of any party name that could better reflect my desire to serve. It’s time to Stop Complaining About It and Do Something. Will you help me? If you are a member of WTP, please vote for me in the primary. Your vote really does count in a big way.
Thanks for reading,
Cubby

good good good
when it comes to congress it's always easier to be an armchair quarterback, sit back and groan loudly about problems. it's much more of a challenge to get in there and work for agreeable solutions. i'm looking forward to a month of, if not productive, animated debate.
good luck, Cubby!
Two questions I think every would-be congressperson should answer:
Do you support the continued wipe of eCanada?
Do you support the 10% work tax?
I think the war with Canada is mostly a waste of money. But I don't have a problem chasing them to India for sport. I'd rather make an actual impact and not play with this "Training war" of sorts.
I do not support the 10% work tax (or anything higher). When it passed, it was on specific grounds of raising a finite amount for our war coffers. It is now being continued ad infinitum. I think that our expenses ought to be cut in places and the work tax ratcheted back to be more competitive with other countries. This makes it easier and more attractive for people to WANT to be in the eUS.
Thanks for the responses! Good luck in the elections.
Best of luck 🙂
Can't argue with the motto.
Welcome to the fight. o/
Good luck
Do Something, Vote WTP on 25th
INSURGIO~
See, this is good. I may not agree with you, but if you actually do more than complaining, you're a lot easier to respect and sometimes even listen to. If you don't act, then you're just another ignorable, whiny sort, easily tuned out on the grounds that people like to whine, for no other reason than to do so.
So yes, please, if you think we're doing things wrong, and you want something changed, do it. Don't avoid the political module and complain, you're free to get involved and prove us wrong if it's important enough to you to put the effort into it. Good job stepping up.
Seeing everyone stepping up to do something makes me "Baa" happy "Baaa"s!

Peeked my interest, can it be possible that someone from the top five parties can actually think outside the box?
