Setting oneself up to be a global citizen/worker
suhaw
As I see it, if I want to take advantage of there are a few basics that need to be looked into.
First of all, in order to travel, I must have a ready supply of moving tickets and the cheapest ones are of course the Q1 ones. So, I am looking at moving next to a country that sells Q1 moving tickets cheaply.
And as an important ingredient in keeping one's wellness up is good quality food, I am also looking at countries that sell good quality (preferably Q5) food reasonably priced.
Balancing the scale is that of revenue. As a Level 3+ construction worker, I would like to be gainfully employed in a well-paying company in a country that the currency is strong, i.e. can buy more gold per unit of the currency. For example, in Japan where I am now, the JPY is strong and it takes only 33 JPY to buy a unit of Gold, unlike 51 SGD in Singapore.
Alternatively, the currency can buy good food or other items cheaply.
Two other interesting complications along the way are: the constantly moving prices of everything due to demand and supply as well as the inability to quit a company (unlike being fired) within 2 days or so after joining.

You can use "ereptools" to analyze all goods prices: http://ereptools.net/market/product/ind/1/q/5" target="_blank">http://ereptools.net/market/product/ind/[..]/q/5

As you known, Adam and Eve was banish from paradise, so eRep haven't paradise on earth, but you can create organizations for other countries. I know a player with 30 organizations.
Sounds like you're making good progress~
A strong currency generally has a relative pay scale meaning that the same job is paid in less of that currency (it becomes about equal). You can definitely see that in countries like Peru where you need to pay a lot more per day
@Nata-kun: Was get much info from ereptools.net, but the salaries calculator has gone offline. As for erep.cc, that is a new to me, will go check it out. As for companies, that - I understand - cost quite a bit of gold. Will probably aim for that later after I get my basics right. Thanks for the tips.
@Tanaka: Thanks for the words of encouragement. Will be following up this article later with one that is a tiny bit more focussed.
@JavaJumper: In situations like this, sites like ereptools.net are essential in helping to see the bigger picture and make better fact-based decisions.
