Well it is may and at least here where I live, May is Borderline Personality Disorder awareness month and the reason it impacts my life so much is because I am suffering from BPD and it is the reason sometimes I take breaks from this game. I will link a video that deeply explains what I go through but I warn you that it is a very serious video and trigger warning for anyone else with mental disorders, I will also post a couple of pictures I have recently taken to at least give some bit of good to this article besides raising awareness.

I didn't make this video myself but I feel the majority of what this person feels. I am a male by the way, the person in this video is not me but suffers very similar to what I go through.

I am doing this to raise awareness for mental illness and so that if someone does know or is a person like me they can understand what we go through and what we feel like. BPD is considered one of the more serious mental illnesses.

While my eventual diagnosis was schizophrenia, psychiatrists did consider BPD at one time. I can sympathise with the engagement/disconnection cycle and the struggle to feel understanding and belonging when you just aren't built like everyone else. I find that part of the problem is my own internal struggle for peace and a way of being that works for me, but part of the problem is also that it's hard to thrive in a world which is often too inflexible to bend even slightly, or even act with basic decency, to spare the pain of those who experience everything intensely and vividly, while that same world is often bent by those who seek to dominate at the expense of others. I do tire of being seen as lazy or self absorbed and unsuccessful by many measures because it is impossible, even after great progress in treatment, for me to fit the mould, while at the same time Donald Trump.
