Yes. I believe that the topicality of the “Messiah” as a “Christ” issue and the “faith” issue is more important than ever.
"Faith" - to believe, to trust, és to hope beyond meanings, is a lesser-known synonym: "faithfulness," that is, "to be faithful."
This can be found in the ancient Greek "classic" big dictionary!
So, "faith" cannot be synonymous with "deceiving."
