Random thoughts, random activity
tommot
I stand by those words.
What happened to all those people that where looking for an active community?
They are still in eBelgium, i know as i saw their accounts and they still wear the Belgian citizenship.
So....what are they waiting for??? Do they really expect other people to take the lead in creating activity???
It is that passive attitude that has left our country almost entirely mute. Government(past and present) have given tools to our community to interact with each other and still they are waiting...
I don't understand this attitude.
Many blame Plato(aka erepublik staff) for the decline in so many ecountry's, but the poor design flaws and services from the staff are only a small part of the problem.
It is us that caused most problems and it is only us that can solve it!!! Here are some of the things you can do to make our community work again:
Well, that's it for now. I hope to hear some thoughts in the comments, that's the point of making this article create activity.... or better said interactivity!

My personal activity, in terms of community, is limited to commenting articles.
I understand your concern Tommot, but it's been a long time that I don't have the desire/will/... to dedicate more time/effort than what I actually do into this game (and it doesn't depends on the e-political situation or on other players' activity, just personal choice).
But nevertheless I keep trying to comment, react or discuss the most I can in the Newspapers, because I know it can have an effect on other players' spirit and morale, and that's OK with the time I want to allocate to the game. But it's the best "activity" I can bring to the eBelgian community (besides fighting of course).
Have a nice day !
"as long as you didn't violate the law, you got nothing to worry about"

Are you saying that erepublik law does not apply to you?
nope, that's ur different interpretation of what i've typed. i would rather say that some lunatics may try to force some laws upon me.
i was laughing at the cited line for another reason. it has the same ill justification as the common phascist tendency to cut down on civil liberties. any law can easily be shaped the way one isn't able to possibly not-violate it. in other words: everyone is guilty of something already. eventually the lawmaker tailor the rule to make her/him guilty asap.
I was talking about erepublik law...
We are not even closely talking about your" fascist tendency" nor "cut down civil liberties".
If you are using foul languages, you get forfeit point(in the forum it's called warnings). If you get a certain amount of forfeit points you get a temp ban(in the forum this means if you get a certain amount of warnings, you get temp ban).
In short... what applies in game, applies in the forum as well. No more, no less.
It's probably not about the eBelgium but this game itself. People got or they are getting fed up with it. 🙂
I am just here to see old faces. 🙂
