Political Party Strategies (Part 3)

Day 1,125, 10:46 Published in USA USA by csabo07

Good Afternoon eAmerica!

If you noticed, part 2 in this series of articles is missing. I fear I got on the bad side of the Federalist Party asking these questions. I believe they are planning something big these upcoming elections, but I also have confidence it will be for the best of eUSA. May the Federalist party have the best of luck. I am still looking forward to an updated interview, but up to this point, I haven't gotten any word on that. I'm hoping this article may encourage them to participate.

Today, I interviewed SEES. (*gasp😉

I'm sure you all have your own different opinions on the party, but whether you love them or hate them, that is not the subject of this article. My goal is to just post a list of survey questions I asked two leading members in their IRC channel.

First of all, this interview went incredibly smooth. The members were very open and helpful, and I got a lot of useful content reflecting their thoughts and opinions about the upcoming elections. (With a few questions off of the subject as well.) My hopes are that you have enough information to make a conclusion yourself.

My interview is listed below.

Q1: On a scale of 1-10, how seriously is your party taking the upcoming congressional elections?
User #1: 10
User #2: 10

Q2: Have you been running any type of media campaign to increase/change the image of your party?

User #1: "We have been recruiting, trying to get fresh faces in.
We're pretty happy with our image, we just want more people"

User #2:"Change? no."
Me: "What about increase?"
User #2: "we can always improve visibility."

Q3: How do you think the upcoming elections will end up, in regards to your party's influence in congress?

User #1: "mid ranged"

User #2: "based on recent political atmosphere, it's hard for me to guess. if the general public is paying attention, we should finish strong."

Q4: Are there any un-confidential goals that SEES plans on doing in congress? Ex. Lowering taxes, expanding borders, encouraging new people to play the game...etc

User #1: "obviously anything to do with encouraging new people to join is a neccessity."
"we'd prefer they join our party but we're happy with them generally getting involved."
"we also want to impeach frost."

Q5: How do you think you will do in the elections compared to other top parties like the Feds and UIP?

User #1: "quite well."

User #2: "I think whatever priority we place our focus on, we'll succeed. SEES doesn't always measure party success by number of members elected, rather that the candidates across parties be quality candidates."

Q6: What are your views on modern eAmerica? Ex. Love it, hate it...

User #1: "its great"

User #2: "hmm, well, I've just returned from a 1 month unexpected break to loss of forums and some nonsensical roleplay (i'm all for rp when it accomplishes something)
but generally, I'm a bit dissappointed in what I've seen so far. excluding a few members, this month seems to be a bit lackluster."

Q7: Are there any big things you'd like to change in eAmerica or are you content?

User #1: *no answer*

User #2:
'I'd like to see some younger citizens more active - high energy is good"

Q8: What are your views on Josh Frost?

User #1: "he has removed Dioism from the new citizen message"
"he has also engaged in several anti-Dioistic diplomatic maneouvers"
"he's also a pig disgusting swede" (http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Dioism)

User #2: "personally, he's a great friend."
"previous terms, i was happy with."
"this one, notsomuch"
"idk if it's a lack of time/commitment that has changed or if his cabinet picks were not the most committed but there's a lot of room for improvement"

Q9: How many candidates/blockers do you plan on running for congress? (again, I understand if that is secret)

User 1: "9001. exactly"
"No we have 14."

All of this facts are there. Make of them what you want. From a citizens' perspective, I'd say SEES has some potential in terms of making it into congress. As for their plans and ideas once in congress, that's all opinion. I hope you all got as much as possible from this interview. Until next time, I will be reviewing another party, hopefully getting a Federalist party interview as well.

Have a great day eUSA!

I know you all loved that joke in yesterday's article (If you saw it), and I'm not about to disappoint.

"Lame Joke of the Day!"
What kind of guitar does a whale play?
An eel-lectric guitar! -zing???-

(Let me know when you stop laughing 😛)

So let me present a video almost as awesome as that joke!
