Party Presidency Bid

Since Rygarth has written an article announcing his bid to run for PP and spammed the Nationalist Party with it, I figured I'd write one now. I wanted to wait until it got closer to the actual election day, but if people are campaigning, I will too.

The following is an interview conducted by "Indiana Fun Times" Editor-in-Chief, Kyle321N with the current Nationalist Party VP and candidate for PP, Kyle321N.

Why are you qualified to run the Nationalist Party? And can you provide links please?
Great question Kyle. Well I feel that I am qualified since I'm a founding member of the party. I've also served in Congress and have been the Vice-President of the NP for 2 terms now. I've also served as the head of Recruitment for the Nationalist Party, I've been a platoon leader, executive officer and commanding officer in the National Guard, and I'm the current Quartermaster General. All of this shows that I've been a leader, and have leadership experience.

Well, that's a list of things you've accomplished, very nice Kyle. You seem to have the experience to lead, but do you have any ideas of how to further the NP?
You are a hard hitting reporter, I like your style. Well I have a couple ideas of how we can better the NP and get them into the top 5 parties. One idea might be able to be accomplished at the very beginning of my term, but I can not disclose what that is, private party leadership stuff, sir. But it will bring in a ton of members into the party, and allow for us to run party members for congress. I've already started recruitment programs in the party's forums, and I feel after we get a wellness program in place this will attract low level members towards our party. Right now we are a middle class party, and I want this party to extend to the high class citizens, such as esteemed congressman and buisnessmen, and the lower class average Joe (maybe he could be a plumber, who knows). But overall I think we need to keep doing the grass roots campaigning we need to do to make the party larger.

Other things I'd like to see get done in the next month: Start a gift company with the Nationalist Party Org. Right now all the money we have in there has been from donations from very generous citizens. We have an offer to buy a gift company for 15 gold, and I think we should jump on it, as soon as we have 20 gold to start up operations. We can then start producing reasonably priced gifts for low level citizens and get their wellness up so they can be strong producing citizens of the eWorld.

I'd also like to see us get 7 congressional seats next election. That seems lofty since we've only had 2 congressman in our history, but I think with the increase we'll soon see, that we'll have a great shot of getting double digit congressmen. To keep it reasonable I'm setting the number at 7. I'd try to get good "match ups" for our candidates, and try not to waste members' time running against congress members who have been extremely active and are very intelligent. I'd get members to run in the states where I think they could, and would win, to maximize the number of seats we'd win.

Sounds like some well thought out plans. Do you know who you would want to be the Committee Leaders under your reign of PP?
Well I'd like to keep everyone who is on a committee on there. I'd move to the President's Committee Head obviously so I'd ask Nathan to stay on as the head of Recruitment. For my VP pick I'd also ask Nathan to be my VP. He's been a great PP and I think if he was to assist me in my duties, I would only be that much of a better PP for you all. Come February I'd ask those who want to be on the President's Committee who we think we should support to run for President. I'd like us to come up with 3 or 4 names and put it up to a vote on the party forums. I'd try to give a brief (unbiased) opinion of each candidate, and then whoever the party supports I will put our name on him (or her).
