Party Membership Changes

Dear Citizens,

Starting tomorrow, Day 4,684, we’ll be making a couple of changes to eRepublik, with the intent of addressing some mechanics regarding the party membership which haven’t been revised in a long time.

The following changes will be implemented :
* By joining a party, you will no longer become a full member just by joining, but for the first 2 days you will have the title of associate member of the party.
* This will impact the way the ranking of the party is done, since associate members will not be counted towards the final rank of the party.
* Associate members are also restricted when it comes to party elections: they can’t run for party president or vote in those elections.
* For any other elections (congress and country president) no restriction is added besides the ranking of the party, which is a general rule.
