One Year In eRepublik

Day 1,107, 08:30 Published in Republic of China (Taiwan) USA by Jefferson Lincoln

Wow I can’t believe it was exactly one year ago that I decided to join the New World. I was looking for an online political simulation to fill in some spare time in my life. I had tried other games but became bored rather quickly. Then I came across an ad for eRepublik one cold December afternoon and life hasn’t been the same ever since.

I’ve had an interesting and controversial career in eRepublik so far. I was a two clicker for the first few months of my life and one day I found that my original party, The Republican Party, had returned to the game. So after a week or so I decided to run for party president with hopes of making the party active. I somehow won the election by a vote and started brainstorming ways to increase membership. Long story short Pizza The Hut became my Vice President and chaos ensued with the party tripling it’s membership in like two days. Eventually I fired Mr. Hut and resigned my presidency, but my reputation in the United States was tattered.

I’ve spent the rest of my career rebuilding my reputation as a player with mostly success. Of course that doesn’t mean I shy away from controversy. I’ve had a few tangles with well-known players such as Michael Porter and the late Jude Connors and I always speak my mind even if it’s not a popular position to take.

I really appreciate all the political opportunities I’ve been given. I’ve served in the United States Congress and now I’m a member of the Taiwanese legislature. I’ve also been given the opportunity to serve in some party positions and I truly appreciate the Lantrip administration for allowing me to be part of the cabinet a few months ago.

Lastly I’d like to thank everyone for their support and friendship throughout my life because without you all, Nixon would be dead. Here’s too many more eRepublik birthdays.

Also I’m running for POTUS in February. Spread the word! 😃
