We found all of them standing there, like nothing had happened. Every stinkin' dink body of them. The smell, you know that epic smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... failure. Sweden and UK still has no attack buttons. Our morning raid, yes 50+ swedes had their alarm clocks set to fight at eRep time 23:00 hours, is thanks to this a total and complete failure. Sweden and UK have both been without attack buttons for about 14 hours longer than we are supposed to. Leaving USA alone against Indonesia, Italy, Brazil, Portugal, France and Iran.
The fact that Spain can't fight can we take, I mean that's no bug, it's feature, right..
Can you PLEASE STOP THIS WAR NOW!

Bugs are happening to everyone.Remember Indonesia vs Argentina also without button.Or Italy couldnt win because DOS attack.You always act like there is only damage to ATLANTIS.

Per, we can't even participate in our own war. That's not a small bug now is it? And it's not the first time either.
It would be interesting to see the reactions during and after a General Election where only three out of five parties are able to get Votes due to a bug.
Would the politicians accept that and say: "Well, it's not easy to get things bug free. We have to cope without congressmen this month. It shall be interesting to see what Purjo can do with a total majority."

However, when you plan a strategy, and you're at every turn unable to perform it due to reoccuring bugs, it is simply not acceptable.

Per, can't tell exactly what happened. I had trouble sorting out the information in all the whining.
In the last congress election, some candidates dropped out of the election unintentionally, necause of a bug. Algaroth was affected by i, for example, and I was only hours away from missing my place.
As Marten1000 said. Not only did I unintentionally drop out, I couldn't run again, and I couldn't vote. And no, I had not been outside the country.

The two battles have been secured by France, so France has 24 hours to react, because it was the winner country of those 2 battles. The battles have been secured 2008-12-19 00:45:23 (server time), so at 2008-12-20 00:45:23 the 24 hours have passed and then both countries can attack.
How it works checking what regions are available to open in a war:
Suppose that country A is the attacker and country B is the defender:
* Case 1: we are in the first 24 hours from the moment A declared war to B
o Country A can attack
* Case 2: the first 24 hours have passed.
o Case 2.1: there are active battles in the war
+ the attacker in active battles can attack other regions also
o Case 2.2: there are no active battles in the war
+ Case 2.2.1: there are closed battles in that war
# Case 2.2.1.1: there are more than 24 hours since last battle was closed
* anyone can attack
# Case 2.2.1.2: there are less than 24 hours since last battle was closed
* the winner of the last closed battle can attack
+ Case 2.2.2: there are no battles at all in that war
# anyone can attack

1: The battle ran on for that long due to a bug, after the time limit expired and the deal should have been closed, it continued. Despite a big lead for Peace. Basicly, you're saying there is no bug, due to the first bug screwing everything up? I applaud you! What's next? Are you going to tell us that people enjoy the trivia?
2: Why cant I see when the battles were started/ended? It should be simple enough.
Please show some respect to your userbase, it is impossible to wage war "strategically" (a term you guys loved to throw around when you totally shafted some countries in raw materials) due to reoccuring bugs.

Anyway, the 24 restriction is not needed and it takes the tactical aspect away from the wars. Please remove it as it is pointless.
Also the rule about not being able to fight on two fronts ruins warfare. Another rule that is illogical and only makes warring ridiculously difficult. Remove it as well.

atlantis just doesn't want to follow the rules. and you are even lucky because admins answer you. peace articles never get a single answer by the admins. even the articles with more then 500posts.
and they never answer because they known it's a bug and that they didn't solved them yet. peace doesn't make stupid complains like this one. we play by the rules.
