Looks like admin have decided to change the game again, this time without even sending us a message.
The new resources are:
Aluminium
Ireland did not end up with any Aluminium, however, our friendly next door neighbors ended up with it in London.
Cattle:
It appears we have been given Cattle in 2 regions:
Cork and Kerry and Northwest of Ireland
Deer:
No deer for us 😉
Fish:
Northern Ireland contains fish, however seeing as we do not currently gold that region it is of no value to us 😉
Fruits:
Located in North east of Ireland (Currently ours) And Shannon, which I know is not currently ours, but maybe one day we will get it back 😉
Grain:
No Grain for us 😉
Or our neighbours
Iron:
Yep, gonna start producing these very shortly from Southeast of Ireland and Dublin.
Oil:
No oil for us which should be of great relief 😉
It will turn us towards more efficient resources and drive us to the moon to mine Helium 3, ultimately we should strive to be the first race to use Helium 3 in fission 🙂
Rubber:
What would we do without rubber?, we would not know as we don't produce any 🙂
Saltpeter:
Yet again we are left without a resource 🙂
Well from what I can see they are the new changes to the economy module 🙂
How this will effect new company managers I am not sure, lets just hope it does not dip us into another eRecession like the last major economy change did.

Also you can notice on the company page that currently companies are not attached to a region, or at least I couldn't find one. They are national.
Without a solid explanation given in an Erepublik Insider article admin seems to be targeting Old Players with this roller-coaster ride most. As we have seen most new players are nearly all Multi accounts to preform various missions requiring them.
I happened to guess at these changes earlier and read about them with the help of a kindred spirit. But the average player knows little and company GM's will now have the ball of doubt in their lap.

Well, we get 3 out of 10 resources. If we take NI we get 4. Considering the admins probably forget us all the time, I'd say we got a good haul. lol! I wonder how this will affect things? Hopefully it doesn't confuse folks and drive even more players out.

The game designers are Brits, do you think they actually FORGOT us? I think more thought was involved then you might think.
So...that means that our production will breakdown as follows:
Raws:
Grain- 100%
Oil- 100%
Iron- 125%
Manufacture😛
Weapons: 105% (+5% Iron)
Food 110% (+5% Fruits, +5% Cattle)
Obvious needs at this point would be to rent a Grain region. I recommend opening negotiations with the US for West Virginia and in the process take control of New Jersey for aluminum. Also, if we take back Northern Ireland we will get an additional 5% food production bonus. With all these moves we will have the following.
Raws:
Grain- 125%
Oil- 100%
Iron- 125%
Manufacture😛
Weapons: 110% (+5% Iron, +5% Aluminium)
Food 115% (+5% Fruits, +5% Cattle, +5% Fish)
Actually, now that I look at the map, we are in a key position to negotiate with our allies. Canada has no Fruit regions and the US has no Iron regions. We should land swap with them. Let Canada hold the Northeast and the US the Southeast. We fight the UK for the North and them we only have two border regions to defend (Northern Ireland and Dublin) I think that renting those two regions would cancel out any rental costs we may have for Grain and Aluminum with the US and keep the UK penned in forever.
^ Now is a terrible time to plan such things. But in the future when we have some semblance of peace, I agree with the principle.
I seriously thought this was a joke article at first. I laughed my ass off when I realized it was real.
Its never too early to have a solid plan. We just have to maintain the fluidity to realize it is not a permanent solution, rather an idea or guideline.

Keen eye Fr0Fr0. I honestly think this is an improvement to the game. We should stop crying about not getting to be a super micro nation, and start enjoying the challenge!
After looking a the map, I think we were not dealt a bad hand. (Other than the Fish!) Some other small nations got really screwed. Estonia, Mexico, Paraguay, Japan, South Africa. None of them got a single 25% bonus region. We got two. and with regions swaps we will be in good shape long term.

Well more fair than High, Med, and low regions I guess. Don said "Canada has no Fruit regions" Shannon has fruit don't it? Doing them a favour, perhaps they would give us a region with a resource we don't have.
