Dimision

Señor Presidente, tengo que entregarle esta nota de despedida.
Presento mi dimision, y espero que sea aceptada.

Los motivos son varios:
- Incapacidad para preveer el alcance y solventar el "problema mexicano". A pesar de las medidas tomadas por mi equipo, nunca esperamos aquellos 50 votos obtenidos a ultima hora por el señor Alfonso.
- Incapacidad para disuadirle de llevar a cabo el "proyecto de hermandad". Considero una temeridad que haya firmado el tratado propuesto por el golpista Alfonso sin la consulta previa del Congreso. Yo, que apoyaba el fondo, detesto las formas del ejecutivo.
- Termino del proyecto ATLANTIS. Esta misma mañana se acordo votar la presentacion definitiva del proyecto a los Congresos respectivos. Tanto mi equipo como yo mismo acabamos muy contentos con el resultado final del acuerdo. Por tanto, si el Congreso me concede este privilegio, me remitire a ser un simple mensajero entre el mismo y el foro privado ATLANTIS para, una vez acordado, remitirlo al Congreso para ser ratificado.

Desde aqui quiero dar las gracias a mi excelente equipo y al señor Presidente, por poder disfrutar de su confianza para este puesto.

Resignation

Mr. President, I have to give you this goodbye note.
I have to prsent you with my resignation; I hope it will be understood by the government.

The reasons are several:
- I wasnt able to stop the "mexican issue". Altough I sent more than twenty volunteers to vote against Alfonso, we never expected those 50 votes that mr. Alfonso received in the last hours.
- I wanst able to disuade you from the "brotherhood project". I consider your last action (signing the contract offered by the golpist Alfonso) an error I cannot stand. I approved teh action, but not without the autorizathion of the congress, the autorization of the people.
- The conclusion of the ATLANTIS project. This morning we agreed to cast a vote upon it finally. We (my team and I) are very happy that we managed to get this project through the end of it. Therefore, once my work as delegate is finished, I will have to ask the Congress to give me a special status so I can present on their behalf the treaty to the people, so it is signed and ratified by the congress.

I didnt want to go without thanking my terrific team of delegates and collaborators and mr. President, who gave me the chance to try my best at this post.
