Most certainly "the world" would be a far better place, but, you know, there is a "Law of conservation of mass" discovered by russian scientist Mikhail Lomonosov. Yes, most of russians greatly increased their quality of life during Putin's presidency. Of course, not all of them, there were many types of people who made great wealth using black markets, corrupted officials and so on; some of them continue to do so, like in any other country, but overall picture changed dramatically.
Even Kasparov's and Navalny's followers who observes elections in Russia in most cases confirms the results, i.e. people are actually vote for current government. One can call them 'dumb' or even 'brainwashed' (which is just cliche for 'thinking different'), but still they vote by their free will. What can be more 'democratic'?

I don't hate russians, I feel pity and despair seeing a nation in shackles, fell under the dark spell of hate and lies, no real democracy, state forces arresting anyone who is opposed to Putin mantra. Not even respecting own constitution. This fall into darkness was progressive, it can happen in other countries too. For example a racist and fascist Trump... Putin's pal. Murders of inocents if NEVER JUSTIFIED, and when they are your brothers and sisters even more so... None of you is in position to blame people who play this game under Russian flag or hold anyone here responsible for whatever you may imagine, unless they plainly support the things you have mentioned. Neither you nor the buddy with a kratos avatar are the ones to judge anyone. And the fact that Ceausescu's regime which didn't have Soviet support in its later years fell two years before the Soviet regime in Moscow does not give you the option to forget that it were Russian people who ultimately ended the Cold War and USSR, not NATO or Americans or even you despite the morally justified revolution of yours. Think for a second for what obscure reasons may many people in Russia have turned to supporting people with views opposite of theirs as of 1991, and if maybe there's anyone to blame for that other than themselves.

For more than ten years this stinking hole of biggotry has been producing just the same racist and derogatory content towards Russians, first it was a few crazy idiots, then half of the game. And what is worse people those young idiots who were playing erep 10 years ago and apreading and learning upon worst xenophobic stereotypes from one another are now socially adult and represent the majority in their RL countries.
