Ideological Guide - TOTALITARISM

This is a serie of article describing diverse political ideological views that might be related and useful in this game. Every week(on Tuesday and Friday) i will publish 2 parts in this work.
This work was originally made by Demonaire and should be credited as such. This is a link to the original topic: https://forum.erepublik.com/index.php?/topic/4612-ideological-guide/

The present text looks to guide citizens in eRepublik (old or new) in choosing the political party that better adjust to his/her political intentions and goals, something important respecting party recruitment. Nevertheless, I repeat: this is only a guide, not the revealed truth.
Quote:
TOTALITARISM

eWiki Definition: Totalitarianism (or totalitarian rule) is a concept used to describe political systems whereby a state regulates nearly every aspect of public and private life. Totalitarian regimes or movements maintain themselves in political power by means of an official all-embracing ideology and propaganda disseminated through the state-controlled mass media, a single party that controls the state, personality cults, control over the economy, regulation and restriction of free discussion and criticism, the use of mass surveillance, and widespread use of terror tactics.

Implementation in eRepublik:

  1. Dictatorship required.
  2. Government in a context of "Close Society", where all important decisions are taken privately.
  3. Political Repression: Opposition to regime are banned from any public aid or policy, citizenship lost if they leave the country and "censorship" in the media through publication of pro-totalitarian articles and buying votes for those (Voters Club) to barring critical press from Top 5 or Top 10 articles from national media.
