Hypocrisy Abounds: stewy 4 AFA PP

So, it's been an interesting couple of days lately. I recently put out an article announcing my intent to run for AFA PP on the 15th this month. The following day I had "computer issues" with some viruses that seem to have found their way to me, but such is life. The day after that, for s***s and giggles, I tried to login to the AFA forum. My surprise was twofold, as 1) i still had access, and 2) there was a neat little proposal for an "Emergency Powers Act" up for debate.



Now, I wish I had a screenshot of it, but as all my normal stuff wasn't working right, I had to settle with a straight copy/paste of the OP posted by AFA leader Viarizi. You can doubt the validity of it if you wish, but RGR's already confirmed that there is such a proposal on their forums in his comments here



Emergency Powers Act

My Fellow AFAers,

Following the Declaration of War from the Feds and facing the urgent need to organize the next PP Elections under most unusual circumstances I hereby propose that Emergency Powers be given to Ronald Gipper Reagan, our founder and most notable AFA member.


By now we all have realized that we must unite to fight the PTOers of unity that already started migrating to our party, with more determination than ever, to PTO our beloved AFA, to fight and stop this threat I propose that RGR be granted the following powers:

- full powers of banning in our Forum;

- not to call for PP primaries this month;

- run unopposed for PP this month;

- start organizing TO operations of other parties;

- use the party treasury as needed to fund campaign and TO operations;

- use any means at his disposal to win the AFA PP elections.


All of this without having to answer to anyone or being accountable for his deeds while this Emergency Powers Act is in effect.

This Emergency Powers Act will be in effect from June 6th until June 30th.



Now I have to ask you AFA guys something... am I the only one that see's the irony here? The party's middle name is "Freedom". Half the AFA propaganda is about how 1 or 2 people control everything is it not? Yet here we are, looking right at the party's leaders proposing the same thing: telling you who is going to run, unopposed, and with a removal of any primary. Hell, even Unity, which is hated by many, many people and has a bunch of problems has "primaries". Before I was banned from the AFA forum, this was getting approval from almost everyone that was posting, which means that unless something drastically changed after my banning, you just became that which you claim to HATE.



I realize that many of the non-enemy nation members in the AFA are there because they hate Unity with a passion. The question I pose to you now, however, is aren't those you have thrown in with b/c you are upset with the system just doing the same damn thing with this? Somebody I know said something the other day which fits perfectly now.. "Unity vs AFA are just 2 sides of the same coin". As long as both are in place, this cycle is going round and round. If you are ready for the ride to end, vote stewy 4 AFA PP... together we can break this perpetual cycle, get rid of Unity, and move on with our e-lives.
