How to Play eRepublik; Part 2 [New Player Guide]

Alright, so you've made it through your first day and you know how to work and train, great! Don't forget to do that every day!

But you might notice your health number is going down, never fear this is where food comes in handy. Eating food will restore your health by a maximum of 10 points per piece and a minimum of 1 point per piece. At this point the cheapest local food will be good as the higher quality food is more expensive.

How to buy food and eat:

So, now you're wondering 'but logan, how do I buy food and then eat it?' Well it's simple really. On the side of your page (to the left) you will see a green button under your health number that says buy food all you have to do is click that.


Once you click the buy food button you'll be brought to the page that is the food market. (another way to do this is go to the Market tab and click Marketplace then go to food.


So no matter how you got there you should see a page that looks like this


Now you can buy food, simply click the eat food button and you will raise your health back up!

Now that you know what to do for your first few days here's what to do once you hit level 14 and can now join a party!

Joining a party:

Political parties are fun ways to meet new people and advance in the political world in eRepublik. There are many diffrent parties to join so before you do ask around, see what party fits you best and which one you like best. You can leave a party any time though after you join one.

In order to join a party go to the Community tab and click on My Party.

Once you do that and click on my party you will be directed to a page that informs you you are currently not a member of any party, simply click on the join party button and you will be directed to a page like this:


Once on that page you can select the party you wish to join, then once on the party's page click on the join party button and you are now a party member!

Now that you're a member of a party, have a job and know basically what you're doing it's time to get active and interact with other players!

IRC and Forums:

There are several ways to interact with other people in eRepublik, the most popular of them is the IRC chat and forums.

IRC Chat:

IRC Chat is a real time chat room, each nation has it's own and on there you can talk to your eRepublik friends and make new ones. The most popular way for new players to get on IRC is through Mibbit. Mibbit is the easiest to use and is very simple for newcomers to IRC. All you need to do it go to the main page and fill in the information like so:


Note that your real eRepublik name should be used in place of eRep_Name

Once you click go you will be connected to the Singapore national chat!

Forums:

Forums are another popular way to keep in contact and exchange ideas with other players, all eRpublik nations have their own national forum, there is also an eRepublik in game forum. For citizens of Singapore our forum is located here
