I do understand that everyone sees things important to them as urgent, but at the same time looking at the urgency from a high overall level may give it a different outcome. Actually, 8 hour response is still pretty good.
What you do need to understand is that there are usually loads of other requests and there will always be other people waiting for a response. No disrespect to you in any way of course, but what makes your issue more important than person's A or person's B issue who may have been waiting let's say 12 hours.

The response time isn't guaranteed anywhere, and at the same time there's no SLA which would state response times or give any kind of warrant. During busy times, you may wait longer, during shorter times you may wait less. From my personal experience when I got in touch with number of different companies or games, if I got a response in a week it was happy days.
