Heading Home After Job Well Done

Any pats on head welcome: Good doggie!

Today Congress made several proposals to drastically reduce taxes, cutting some rates by up to 24%. You can click on the link to see all the proposals:

Food Value Added Tax – 1%

Weapon Value Added Tax – 1%

It looks like all will pass, since there appears to be general agreement among Congress that these tax changes are good for the country by making eCanada a tax-free zone that will bring in more foreign buyers, sellers, employers, and workers….which is great because eCanada can certainly benefit from importing fresh talent (see previous article). But don't let my request for a pat on the head mislead you into thinking I had anything to do with these tax changes. This congratulations for a job well done squarely belongs to DMV3 and the effort he has put into advancing his tax platform: Thank you and o7!

eCanada: now in the business of importing all products and people, upper-management positions included

Right now there appears to be no pressing issues to debate in Congress. We have cleared up our debts, adjusted our taxes, signed a treaty and regained regions, welcomed in new/returning players, and pursued avenues to rekindle old alliances. As a Congressmen, I’m not sure what there is left to do this term except vote on ally proposals and approve new citizenships. The plan was to pursue wherever my surveys took me and I’ve reached the bottom of where the series of surveymonkeys were digging.

The only thing left for me, so far as I can see, would be to help new players in the game. It does appear the current administration is making efforts to improve on new player support, though it is just getting off the ground and cannot report on it as of yet. Excavating details on Boomer Academy and the Ministry of Health offer promising leads into that area, yet managing such things should be done by players with deeper pockets and better connections, or perhaps Congress can be tasked with assigning project managers and funding for these ventures. I dunno about you but that sounds like a bit too much work for a guy who’s got better things to do…

I’ll be hanging out down in the basement catching up on some paperwork. Y’all know where to find me when something important comes up, like September’s Congress election. Hmmm, well there is the Party President election soon, and Clan Wolf today announced a training program for Party Presidents. It could be fun acting as Oinyo’s shadow for a month.

*meowoof*

Anyway, that's enough for now. Time to chill for a while.
