Heading Home After Job Well Done
Wilfie
Any pats on head welcome: Good doggie!
Today Congress made several proposals to drastically reduce taxes, cutting some rates by up to 24%. You can click on the link to see all the proposals:
Food Value Added Tax – 1%

Weapon Value Added Tax – 1%
-- http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/Canada/132234
Weapon Raw Material Import Tax – 1%

It looks like all will pass, since there appears to be general agreement among Congress that these tax changes are good for the country by making eCanada a tax-free zone that will bring in more foreign buyers, sellers, employers, and workers….which is great because eCanada can certainly benefit from importing fresh talent (see previous article). But don't let my request for a pat on the head mislead you into thinking I had anything to do with these tax changes. This congratulations for a job well done squarely belongs to DMV3 and the effort he has put into advancing his tax platform: Thank you and o7!
eCanada: now in the business of importing all products and people, upper-management positions included
Right now there appears to be no pressing issues to debate in Congress. We have cleared up our debts, adjusted our taxes, signed a treaty and regained regions, welcomed in new/returning players, and pursued avenues to rekindle old alliances. As a Congressmen, I’m not sure what there is left to do this term except vote on ally proposals and approve new citizenships. The plan was to pursue wherever my surveys took me and I’ve reached the bottom of where the series of surveymonkeys were digging.
The only thing left for me, so far as I can see, would be to help new players in the game. It does appear the current administration is making efforts to improve on new player support, though it is just getting off the ground and cannot report on it as of yet. Excavating details on Boomer Academy and the Ministry of Health offer promising leads into that area, yet managing such things should be done by players with deeper pockets and better connections, or perhaps Congress can be tasked with assigning project managers and funding for these ventures. I dunno about you but that sounds like a bit too much work for a guy who’s got better things to do…
I’ll be hanging out down in the basement catching up on some paperwork. Y’all know where to find me when something important comes up, like September’s Congress election. Hmmm, well there is the Party President election soon, and Clan Wolf today announced a training program for Party Presidents. It could be fun acting as Oinyo’s shadow for a month.
*meowoof*
Anyway, that's enough for now. Time to chill for a while.

I'm sold on it, hopefully it has staying power.
This here is a perfect example of our new tax policy at work. Up 3% to 32%.
Welcome back to eCanada.

Good job guys o>

Clan Wolf has a PP training program?
I hope you bring in someone from the outside to train your members how "Candidate Deadlines" work, because the current crop of leaders has absolutely no idea.
I heard it was a phone/software compatibility issue, rather than a problem knowing the deadline.
Still, the Wolf Charter could use some updating to reflect those deadlines. I just noticed there was one afer reading Crisfire's article.

Actually Oinyo stated that he knew he would miss the deadline because he only had his phone and he knew it wouldn't work. Somehow he thought that was better than pretending it was an accident.
Have fun re-electing him though, I mean gross incompetence is only of the most important things in a leader.
I like the guy. His attitude has the right groove for our group.
"At least you tried" applies to a lot of things in this game. The successes are not all that obvious, unless you're dealing with an election or specific battle, while the failures stand out quite immediately and vociferously. Things worked out for the better in that election anyhow, from my point of view.

Wilfie, when you've been PP 9 times people expect you to understand PP mechanics and lock in a candidate.
Good point, Zianni. It is also said we best learn from our mistakes, so I'm expecting that Oinyo will have a lot of wisdom to impart, especially with locking in candidates.
You should give another at running for shot for party president, Zianni. I'd like to find out who else wishes to lead the party.
You are the future clan wolf PP .

keep up the good work o7
I think I love you Wilfie o _ O
Keep on being a weirdly great politician
Must be the extra facial hair that builds an affinity.
I do appreciate the encouragement. After seeing people coming down on my mentor's (Auk Rest and Oinyo) and making a couple mistakes in Congress, a good word keeps the tail wagging. : )
like usual tl:dr
keep it up
It had moving pictures.
That was pretty cool.
