Grover: Allied Alternative to the Voters Club

In my last article, I discussed some of the more negative aspects of the eRepublik Voters Club. The biggest issue being that the people who run it and a large number of employees, are members of ONE nations. I had thought most people were already now aware of the fact that the leaders were loyal Polish citizens, but there were some doubts about it. If you take a look at some of the accounts that claim to be associated with the Voters Club, things become much clearer: http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/2646812.

Szuja321 is one of the main figures behind the eRepublik Voters Club. As he is currently banned, some American members are worried if the Club will still be able to even function properly.

Another issue that many commenters brought up was the issue of vote buying in general. I didn't want to focus very much on this topic as I see no practical solution for it, as opposed to the ONE issue. Additionally, even if we were somehow able to convince most of America to stop buying votes, we would only be overrun by PTOers buying votes who wouldn't care either way. On the other hand, the problem of the Voters Club monopoly could simply be solved with the right amount of competition.

So with that in mind, I set out to actively change the situation. I considered personally trying to emulate them while hiring only allied citizens, but logistically it didn't seem very possible for me. I then searched around for any "voting clubs" among our allies, until I eventually met an Argentinian user by the name of Ramato.

Ramato runs a group called Grover, that is currently made up solely of Argentinians. However, that doesn't mean that he isn't looking for new members. He agreed to let me post the english version of the details for his group.

Just to clarify, I am in no way officially associated with Grover.

"the US citizen, get a VIP Account, 11 CC per article (10 CC for Normal Account), payment every 5 days, 1 coupon per day with 20% discount for own use, 10% commission for referred sales"

"the VIP account for US citizens will be for 5 days, after that, the new citizen get the normal account"

Although, he said the VIP opportunity could be continued depending on how well things go in the eUSA.

As things currently stand, Grover is clearly the superior option for anyone loyal to the eUS. With the Voters Club you are actively helping to fund a large number of users that fight against us, and now there are growing doubts about whether you'll even be paid.

To reiterate what I said in my previous article, I'm not attempting to cast blame to those that have or are currently doing business with the Voters Club. I myself was tempted to join them at one point. Everyone was using and benefiting from it, while no one was pointing out why the Voters Club in particular could be a bad thing. Plus, apparently some eAmericans were not even aware of the Club's Polish leadership until now.

It's one thing to make a mistake, it's another to see the all facts laid out, and then to stubbornly refuse to change that mistake. With an allied group now in competition here in the eUS, there really is no more excuse to work for the ONE-heavy Voters Club.

You may choose to not be a part of any of these sorts of groups, and that is still a respectable option. But, if it's a choice between the Voters Club and Grover, it should without question be Grover.
