Let me first state the purpose of this article: I am declaring my candidacy for the position of Party President of the Communist Party of India!




Why?


In a short time, I have come to love India, to the point that I now consider myself Indian. Ever since tiny India decided to take on Iran and PEACE (they were still PEACE then, right?), and won, I've spent more and more time following India and talking with its people. Got citizenship to help fend off some recent PTOs, permanently moved here recently, and have set up a cozy residence in Maharashtra.






So, what qualifies me to run for Party President?
Well, I've done it before. Back in my old country, the eUS, I led a party of over 900 people, and established a whole new internal structure to get more stuff done more efficiently than ever before. I was also a 5-term Congressman, and held a number of high-ranking political positions including Secretary of State (equivalent of MoFA). I understand how politics work.







So what can you expect from me as CPI Party President?
Well, I'm not going to come out and make outlandish claims, like that I'll lead the party to winning 20 seats in Congress this month and get a president from our party into the Presidency within 2 months. No sensible person would believe me. In the most general terms, I can promise that I will put India first. Any Indian will be better in Congress than a PTOer, and I will not let partisan politics get in the way of India's long-term security. However if we have the luxury of having more than enough Congressional candidates to fill the ballots, I will ensure that the CPI puts forth the best candidates possible. That is, those who have the experience and skills to put forth good policy and support President's ability to make good decisions.






TLDR version:

I have the ability and experience to make an excellent Party President, and with your vote will help ensure that India remains safe from PTO and has quality Congressmen. Vote for me for Communist Party of India President! 😃
