First Semi-Professional Article in How Long?

As I two-click(or however many clicks it is these days) through the days, a couple of things has made me pay more attention to this broken shamble of a game. I look around and I see how active I used to be, and it lures me back a little.....but that's not what this article is about, unfortunately. This article is about a couple of things that I have decided to focus on, ranging from something Constitutional, to something....not so Constitutional....
What to start with....what to start with.....well I guess I can do the diplomatic one to really start this article. You see, shortly before the Hungarian PTO, we had two traitors in our ranks. One was named Amun Nefer, who used to be a really good guy, before he got turned by the second one, Judean Princess, who was a witch with THE biggest nose you would ever find. Seriously, her nose would make Pinocchio's nose seem small, but I'm getting off-track here. Anyways, the government of eSouth Africa saw it fit to censure them, or completely downplay them to the entire country, saying that the two of them were terrorists who wanted to destroy eSA. Anyways, I could go on for hours about this(by hours, I mean minutes), but I'll just say that the censure did jack-shit. So in this sentence is a link to a National Assembly link(which Mr. Muhammad in eIran could see if he so chose), which will propose the removal of censure. The idea will be fleshed out further in the link, so please check it out.
Onto the second part of the article. Lately, there has been resistance wars in eSA that are not supported by the government. These RWs are started by forces of ONE that are trying to weaken eBrazil, who are some of our newest allies. eBrazil used to be one of our biggest enemies, but the times are changing and they are now one of our biggest allies. This attempt at peace is wanted by many, and opposed only by those who hold personal grudges against certain people. A notable group is the Dignity Brigade. This group, who fights for the freedom of eSouth Africa, used to be a very prestigious group within eSouth Africa, respected by all. However, since the eBrazilian/eSouth Africa agreement, it seems as though their goal has been tainted to some extent. Instead of fighting for the best of eSA, they are ironically fighting against eSA. By fighting against eBrazil in these unsupported RWs, they are causing strain to the eBr/eSA agreement supported by the mass majority in eSA, and are actually fighting against their own countrymen in an idea they somehow think is right. These once respected people are quickly becoming terrorists against the very country they sought to protect. If they honestly cared about what was best for eSouth Africa, they would cease fighting against it and give the eBr/eSA agreement the chance it deserves.
Other notable pieces include an eRep mod/admin actually calling for the impeachment of Mr. Wet because “there is no fun”. Normally, bad-mouthing the thing you 'work' for normally gets you fired, so I'm just laughing. Another would be someone going against all logic and proposing a NE against eBrazil, which we share an MPP with. If there was a Dunce of the Year award, I'm sure they would tie for it.

You are wrong about the DB. While many of us are opposed to the treaty with Brazil, there are also those within our group who actively support it and were involved in the negotiations. Mr. Wet and Harrin are two notable high-ranking DB members who are very supportive of the treaty and have fought for Brazil against the RWs.
Unlike most groups, we allow our people to support whichever side they want to, and though we don't all agree, we don't go around bad-mouthing each other and spreading lies and misinformation about them.
We in the DB who don't support the treaty also don't go around calling those who do traitors, terrorists or somehow tainted because they don't believe as they do. I find it ironic that all the pro-Brazil people say they want peace and unity, but if anyone dares to oppose them, they call them traitors, terrorists and the like. Even though I've made my feelings about the Treaty public, I have not slandered those who support it. It would be nice if some of you gave us the same courtesy.
@Jizzmeister, I agree with you DB deserve the same courtesy. Calling slandering ppl is unproductive. DB has always been there for eSA and understandable in any entity there will be ppl opposed certain directions.
I personally do not hold DB as a group accountable. Individuals act as individuals, I just hope they would eventually see that this agreement could be a good thing. I know it takes time. I too have my concerns but i have put them aside to make the best of the agreement we have in hope for better things.
If it turns against us again, like some have predicted, at least we know we did what we could we kept the moral high ground, ppl can say we told u so and we go back to fighting. But if there is that slight chance that it may just work...we would be ignorant not to try it.
The funny thing about all this is that you could blame the DB for the treaty as well as for the opposition to it, since DB members helped create it while others hope to destroy it. Better just to forget the DB and go after the members you disagree with because you can find them on both sides of the issue.
It's too bad more people don't have Grimsey's attitude. We anti-Brazil DBers were fine with letting this treaty run its course and being quiet about it until we started getting attacked in the media and forum. I thought after speaking to the Grimster that the two sides were cool with each other, but I guess that only applied to me and the Griminator.
We anti-Brazil DBers tend to be the older fighters, so aren't used to backing down, so the more we are attacked, the more likely we will be to take action at some point. Believe me, its not easy holding back berzerkers like Loco and Uber. We are Dignified however, so if we do act somehow, it will be in a completely legal way.
DB has always been good people, both as a group and as individuals. No reason to blatently bash them. those who support the treaty fought for brazil, and you don't yell at them, so it's hipocracy for yelling at those who fought against brazil because they don't support the treaty.
Stryke, do realize that myself and ChubbZilla are all part of the DB. The DB's pride and desire to do what they think is right, is why I joined them. We do however, have disagreements on certain issues.(sometimes big issues). I'm obviously Pro-treaty, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The overall population shows interest in this treaty, as do I, which is why I plan to continue on the path of friendship with Brazil.

P.S. Last I checked, I was a member of DB too. I never officially left, nor was told I had been kicked out. So yeah.

We still consider you DB, Shiloh. You haven't been active on the forum at all, but we don't kick people out for that. I think we've only booted one guy ever, and even that was amicable: we considered his comments racist and he agreed that we wouldn't get along, so he left. We've demoted a few people for inactivity, but never booted them.

I am enjoying this, maybe I can use this as a foothold for a potential comeback. Though being gone for 2 hours after posting a heated topic does not make it easy for me to reply....so much to reply to....
Anyways, I love the general attention the first part is getting(I.E none), I knew the second I started putting that second point up that the actual point was going to be completely ignored.
A point is still interesting though, and that those few shouts that I made about the DB got voted up. The first one was voted by Grim himself. I mean, until I made this article, only Harrin actually tried to defend the DB, everyone else just voted.
But enough of that, I have to contribute further into the real focus of this article, and you guys are posting way too big of responses for me to even care about.

The first paragraph isn't getting attention because it really has no relevancy.

As for the DB shout, the point was towards those fighting for the Resistance Force. Grim even spoke out against those. But DB as a whole didn't fight for the Resistance. It was a quip, but that's it.
And if you're really trying to make a political comeback, you're definitely stepping on the wrong foot. Making dumb moves, calling trusted Saffers terrorists. As much as I disagree with Jizzie or Rico, I know they'd never harm eSA in an intentional and clear way. The Resistance is an exception since they believe eSA should be free, but if Brazil or Indo were to invade, you bet your ass they'd come back in a heartbeat; so would I. But the firework you've tried to shoot has turned around and hit your neighbor's window.
Yeah this doesn't sit well with me at all. First of all this was done on the members own accord and not by the DB. Secondly it might be a good idea to do your homework before actively slandering the DB. Our CP (Mr. Wet), VP (Chubbzilla) and MoD (myself) are all proud DBers so in effect you're applying that our gvt doesn't give a damn about eSA and are out to destroy it, when in fact the exact opposite has been going on. Also as I've told you before it might do you some good to read our mission statement.
