Figure I need a platform for New Hampshire
Devoid
Why should you vote for me in New Hampshire? Well...
- I'm representing New Hampshire in Congress even as we speak.
- I have argued loudly against increases in import taxes (especially import taxes!), VATs (including the increase on food VAT, which I voted against), and pretty much whatever other tax increase have been brought up
- I know my shit when it comes to international economics, managing people and organizations, foreign relations.
- I am currently running 3 successful businesses in eRep.
- I'm currently on the Congressional Budget Committee, as we work toward establishing a new budget going forward.
- I've brought 30 new players into this game and helped to level 6, and continue to help them along. Some of which are gaining various levels of prominence, and at least one of which is likely to be in Congress with me this next term.
- I love peace, but hate PEACE.
Notable votes this term:
- NO to increase in food VAT, which barely passed; I believe taxes are already high enough, if not too high, and the people should not bear even more.
- NO to tax increases on grain and houses.
- YES to renewing MPPs with a number of our allies, to give usand those who stand with us every advantage in resistance PEACE imperialism.
So yeah. I've been doing good work and I'm going to keep on doing good work, but I need your vote in New Hampshire on the 25th. Message me if you need help getting to NH to vote for me. And please please PLEASE message me if you have any questions regarding policy, or where I stand on certain issues, or why I take a certain stand, or anything else. I will be very happy to respond.

I don't agree with your tax vote, but I respect your right to your opinion. Best of luck.
Go me!
Conversing with you in IRC is always a thrill.
Good luck. Keep up the hard work when you win.
Please read this article as to why your proposal against food VAT is flawed.

All sounds fine to me. I support you for another win in New Hampshire.
you know, devoid, I would never think to post on an opponent's presentation. Unless (Like you, slappy!) they posted a criticism on mine: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/jfbranson-for-new-hampshire-995762/1/20#comments" target="_blank">http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/jfbr[..]ents
Go donate to the eUS treasury, slappy, if you think your taxes are too low.
Deviod, the silly little Congressman, decided to jump my presentation. Good for him!
Devoid thinks we should all live in Florida and California (see his post on my newspaper here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/the-sunshine-patriot-200452/1" target="_blank">http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/th[..]52/1
I'm just curious why Senator silly-pants is even living in New Hampshire. And, btw, he doesn't want its residents to have a hospital. Oh, wait. Like his post at my paper says, all the great big informed experts agree: New Hampshire can go !#@! itself.
Jfbranson brought it upon himself to post twice in a row, because no one really cared enough to respond to someone so dumb.
Will, me and Devoid are arguing over on my presentation.
Thank you for your suppport, Will.
I realize this without you pointing it out to me, as you can see by my replies to that post. I just wanted to point out how worthless your posts on an actually entertaining platform were.
Your fearless Congressman just called me Ajay Bruno. All of you supporting him must be really proud of your boy: http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/th[..]52/1" target="_blank">http://www.erepublik.com/en/newspaper/th[..]]52/1 I've never seen such nastiness.
I think jfbranson has demonstrated himself rather clearly in these Comments. Voters should consider if they want that nonsense and baseless name-calling in Congress, too.
Any candidate has any right to post on any other candidate's presentation. If you really insist on comparing eRep to real life, it's the eRep equivalent of a debate; Congressional candidates running in New Hampshire should be able to debate each other without condescending name-calling and mudslinging. For instance, Devoid didn't call jfbranson Ajay Bruno.
That's a slight exaggeration of the truth meant to deflate Devoid's chances of being elected. Truthfully, Devoid said that jfbranson reminds him of Ajay Bruno.
jfbranson's response to this? "Devoid likes to call names. Ok. See you on your presentation, lil' buddy."
lil' buddy. kid. slappy.
All things that jfbranson has called Devoid. Now, WHO likes to call names, jfbranson? Yeah, that's what I thought.
I'm sorry there even has to be such ridiculousness in a Congressional race.
Voters of New Hamsphire, consider these two, and the other candidates, on the basis of their political positions. I think that alone, without looking into a certain candidates character (or lack thereof) will be enough to allow you to make a good, informed choice.
I'll point out that jfbranson was so thoroughly destroyed on his own article by my friends and colleagues here that he didn't just delete that article, but every article he's ever written.
Thanks for the support, lovely people 🙂
I see your accomplishments but I don't see a platform. 😮
