Erepublik Summit

Day 974, 15:02 Published in USA USA by Department of State

The game of eRepublik has recently entered a new age with the release of V2. This new age has forced us all to innovate in order to adapt to the challenges that we face today. This innovation has lead to the formation of new ideas that will help enrich our world.

One of these ideas is to come together in a neutral meeting-place for representatives of all nations to converse in a more real-time direct setting than is allowed for in the current ambassador system. This global forum will allow for greater communication between nations in order to discuss issues that affect their sovereign nations and the New World as a whole. Such a meeting would allow countries of all sizes and cultures to discuss global issues in a real-time setting, ending the long-winded process of sending hundreds of in-game private messages to get anything done.

Say yes to international cooperation

This forum will not act as a United Nations which tries to uphold peace, but rather a neutral, moderated setting which will ensure international stability in these trying times. We do not want this forum to be pro-EDEN or pro-Phoenix or pro-anyone. We are taking the initiative to move the New World forward - past the complaining and the miscommunication and the trolling- towards economic improvement and enhanced game experience.

We now take the first step towards all this with the first eRep Global Summit with world leaders in order to discuss this proposal and accommodate the concerns they may have in order to make sure that all concerned parties may be addressed. We want to see positive results, not bickering. I'm sure most leadership can appreciate the difference between things being "acted upon" and things being "done."

Please join us on #erepsummit on Saturday 7/24 at 1200 erep time. LaurenBug will be moderating the event and anyone who has anything they would like to see discussed should PM the question to her.

Thanks to qubert18, DuvalEaton, and Dave Richards/tibbets for their contributions to this event.
