Sydiot

Personal Statement:
I am a hard worker and a generally likable guy, as far as I know. Since joining Congress I've worked hard to make the Budget and Finance Committee a center of honest analysis and policy making that cooperates with the President and military to fund our country's wars and domestic programs. Some accomplishments I'm very proud of are two national budgets and reviews, the creation of Office of Militia Support, and the painstaking tracking of our country's income and monetary health. I love being in Congress as I think it is at the heart of American progress, no matter what the critics say. Congress rules.

SGGHays
Senator of Nebraska
Has served 2 terms in Congress.
Personal Statement:
Where to begin...In real life, my names Mike and I'm about to turn 23, living in Washington D.C. Graduated about 8 months ago and getting used to "real life" as many like to call it. I probably spend way to much time on this game, along with many of the same people you see on the forums/irc.

I first entered the game right at the beginning of the American invasion. Growing up in VA, I was lucky to choose a spot with a q3 hospital and after I eventually figured my way out I began to appreciate this game. I finally made it down to Florida with everyone else and was soon fighting daily to save our country. It was a time of a lot of fun, but also a lot on confusion for newer players. I soon joined a political party (CvP), which has been a great experience in this game. It had created many friendships and I've learned a lot for some of our older members. Over the next 100 days or so I continued to grow and soon found myself fighting as part of ST6. In addition, the idea of politics began to play in my mind after serving on the council for the CvP over a couple election cycles. I tried running once or twice unsuccessfully, but the third time was the charm and I won in Nebraska. I am now in my second term as congressman from Nebraska and enjoying every moment of it. Over the past few months, I've spent a majority of my time on two main goals: gaining support for a V2 budget prior to release and working on capturing economic numbers. As of now, the budget has been set up successfully and continues to grow and prepare our country for the upcoming release. In terms of my role on the Finance Committee, I'm currently gathering data from a number of sectors and countries, which will soon be analyzed and posted. This will allow us to create a plan to improve our economy as quickly as possible. I'll go ahead and keep this short and sweet and stop there, but if anyone has any questions for me or wants to chat, feel free to message me in game.
