Dear Serbs

When I joined erepublik, the first thing I did was searching the rankings to see where is my country and how strong it is. I was happy with my country’s position at the time (13th) but I was even more happy to see Serbia being first.

Quite later I understood that we are in-game enemies. I could never understand the reason. Not until today. You see, all the old Greek players keep saying that they don’t want a Greek-Serbian alliance. Only the newer ones like me were wondering “why not?” This was a continuous wondering, and became more evident last week, where some top players of yours were telling us to join ONE (and ask Bulgaria to join also), and you would kick out of your alliance FYROV and Turkey at once. And at the meantime, you wouldn’t ask us to make any attack at all to our previous allies.

Well, after careful thoughts, I have concluded to somewhere. And this conclusion was made by the unbelievable crying of Fyrovians and Turkish players. They don’t need to be deserted. It is not fair at all for their poor e-countries. I can’t stand any more e-tears from them. Besides, it is impossible to betray our best in-game allies. We are Greeks, and betrayal is a word we are unfamiliar with. You are our RL brothers, while at the same time you are our in-game enemies. If a RL country decided to attack you, we would be the first to stand beside you. But this is a game, and nothing such this stands true in here.

So dear Serbs, let’s play the game. Make your war with Bulgaria, and if you succeed erasing it, we will be expecting you. But please …. don’t come alone. Bring your whole alliance against us, and ask FYROV and Turkey to jointly attack us. You will be surprised with what you will find here. We are Greeks. We are born for hard stuff. If you don’t believe us …. you can ask Xerxes what happened in Thermopyles.
