Congressional Press: 2nd Edition of the 28th Congress: Committee Highlights

Day 873, 19:21 Published in USA USA by eUSA Congress

Greetings Citizens of the eUs!
This is the paper of your Congress, bringing you all the information you need to know about your legislative branch of government.

This week in Congress:
1. Congress has toyed with the possibility of the creation of a Public Relations position, along with making it a permanent position for future Congressional Leadership.
2. Appointing a prominent economic expert, Dr Tango, to Deputy Director of the Congressional Budget Office.
3. Proposed additional responsibilities to the newly created Federal Elections Coordinator, consisting of responsibilities to identify PTO congressmen who slipped through and were elected.
4. Congress is currently debating about whether or not there should be an amendment to the Constitution requiring the entry or exit from an Alliance to be approved through a Congressional Vote.
5. Our Budget and Finance committee is once again engaged in the Armageddon-esque battle, also known as the debate regarding Import taxes. This time around, V2 plays a part in the debates, with some congressmen suggesting special rates for the radical change in our economy. Furthermore, the Budget and Finance committee was given an insight into how military funding is conducted.
6. In the Citizens Affairs Committee, an idea of the creation of a new "Model Congress" has been thrown around and debated.
7. The Government Oversight Committee is currently working on the expansion of this very paper! The information here is thanks to this committee.
8. Our Military subcommittee is hard at work, taking discussions on Military-Militia cooperation and communication.

This week's exclusive....our Congressional Committees!
At the beginning of each congressional term, all congressmen are assigned to specific committees based on their requests. These committees take care of discussion before an actual proposal, as well as maintenance of congressional programs.

Iasov: Dear People of South Carolina: You must not be from South Carolina because US Americans can't use maps.

Rainy Sunday: I would like to give a shout out to the all of the hard working staff of the many Department of Interior programs. Without their dedication, many of our younger citizens would not have survived the recent hospital changes. And a huge thank you to all those who support with their generosity.

Laurenbug: I would like to give a shout-out to Lord Krauser, the guy who voted for me 🙂
