Cheap aircraft are just around the corner.
Joseph Rich
Ladies and Gentlemen,
In my short time since I have returned to eRepublik I realised that not a lot has changed since I left. The game is still very much a pay to win model, smaller countries are consistently on the back foot and inflation is very much rampant.
This article from around Day 500 talks about a 50% wage increase in the ePhilippines from 1cc to 1.5cc! Now the average wage is around 1900cc, which is a 189,900% increase. 1 gold was worth around 30cc, now that has spiralled to around 850cc.
The good news is that even though this hyperinflation has occurred, regular weapons and food seem to have not followed this trend, decreasing in value, with one Q7 weapon now being worth 0.02g. Unfortunately this trend has not followed with aircraft weapons, especially in Switzerland where one Q1 aircraft is only 20% cheaper than a Q5 aircraft, despite the latter holding 400% more damage and durability.
This brings me to my next point- the average wage of 1780cc can only buy three Q5 aircraft, which I think is an absolute farce. Aircraft unfortunately are expensive thanks to this hyperinflation trend combined with the severe demand experienced all round the globe.
It's clear that this needs to change, especially if we are to allow existing citizens to specialise in air battles. In order to combat this, over the last month I have been saving gold from medals in order to build a Q5 aircraft factory.
I'm proud to announce that I have now opened this factory, and will begin selling Swiss-made aircraft at up to a 30% discount when compared to the international average.
It is imperative that we build a nation that can respond to any type of attack, and I hope that this initiative will bring prices of aircraft down in Switzerland. In order to maintain profit margins, I will be exporting 25% of production to overseas nations where I will be able to maximise profits.
If you would be interested in starting up another Q5 factory to increase production with me (we can only realistically sell 50 Q5 aircraft on the Swiss market) please send me a message.

Second to this.
by the way, awq5 market is considered saturated with lots of seller but not so much buyer. The reasond behind this is, most pilot (especially with low ranks) use no weapon when fighting in air battle. If they want push their rank faster, their rather choose Stinger of burn all their EB.
IMO, as a catch, you can be a sole supplier of awq5 to particular pilots, take Leon With as example. Im sure he's never enough with awq5 hahaha
Indeed, it's definitely saturated with alot of sellers, but I believe there are no buyers because its simply unaffordable. Even I, an older player with a considerable amount of wealth, can't afford to fight with awQ5's each day because its just too expensive.
I might look into supplying pilots in the future once I build up production 🙂
😃
a great initiative!
bravo my good friend, this is the right way to improve our aircraft position and equipment for our e-nation...

I've always wondered at what price does an awQ5 break even? I know the number for food (because I am a producer) and ground weapons (because I plan to produce) but have no idea about aircrafts (and also houses, but I can't get myself to care about that for some reason). Do you mind if we can talk about this?
Hey mate! Breakeven for me is roughly 420~450cc.
Right, thank you.
Also, great initiative
i use to buy aircraft just to get 100% power that had recently been done a few months ago. Before that and after that i rarely fight buy air and if i do its to just show a little bit in the week progress that i did at least a small simple air fight.

At the moment I am totally focused on ground battles, both with combat and with my financial resources, but I want to congratulate you for the great initiative!
Thank you mate!
Good Points All Around.
