Join the new world

Hello! This is an article out of the norm, but it was suggested...

I'm here to introduce myself and tell you about how I came to be the MoD undersecretary.

My name is Katie and I joined erepublik on April 18th, 2008. I was very shy at first, and I didn't really do much at first. I became a congresswoman for UKRP and while in congress an apprentice scheme was introduced(you can see it in the government policies section on the eUK forums). With this scheme in place, current ministers were able to take on apprentices and learn more about the ministers and their functions as ministers.

At first I was interested in the DoW apprenticeship, however I thought it over, and decided I wanted to learn more about the military aspect of eRepublik and the eUK.

So, I headed into the apprenticeship with widdows9000, and believe me, it was no easy task! I worked hard and learned a lot. I was required to really think about the military aspect and if you talk to widdows, when he gave me a task, my response would be more than twice as long as the initial post!!

Just recently, I was offered the position of undersecretary of the MoD by the MoD and I was excited!

I accepted of course. and now here I am, writing out this press release.

As the MoD undersecretary, I plan to keep learning, and perhaps become the MoD one day.
